Visited on a Monday evening—pleasantly active but not crowded, with a calm, noise-free atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating both add to the relaxed vibe. Food: Absolutely delicious across the board. • Nshima Beef Curry (105k): Exceptionally flavorful—tender beef, rich gravy, and perfectly cooked potatoes. • American Burger Single (55k each): Incredible value and great portion size; getting two was a no-brainer. • Plain Rice (40k): Surprisingly served as a full meal; not exactly “plain” but still enjoyable. • Water and Soda (15k each): Well-priced. Service: Food took about 30 minutes, which was reasonable. However, the major downside was the billing process—staff repeatedly misrepresented the order on the bill, and it took considerable effort to correct. Disappointingly, they tried to guilt me into paying for their mistake. This issue alone knocked off a star. Rating: 4/5 Great food and atmosphere, but be extremely clear and vigilant with your order and billing.

At Food Palace they serve some yummy shawarma, fried chicken and other snacks. A must visit place when you are in Living stone. This place is owned by Mr Hassan who is from Lebanon. They also make some real good chilli sauce. You can also buy the house chilli sauce on request.😍

Food Palace serves the best fresh made to order meals in Livingstone, especially the roasted chicken pieces or wings, T-bone or Kebab's, highly recommend and they stay open late in the night till the last customer.

The chicken shwarma was amazing! I had the sit-down version the first night I was in Livingstone and had to go back the next day to get the take-away version. The take-away is smaller and cheaper, but both were great value. They put a garlic sauce in the shwarma, which is an important part of the authentic meal but be warned if you are going to be in company - the garlic flavour is unmistakable. This is a good thing!

The friends I ate with had the fried bream and the roast chicken wings with shima (pap/sadza). Both were very pleased with their meals.

Most food items are prepared to order, so it can take 10-15 minutes for your order to be prepared. This is a good thing! You can take a seat on the tables at the front while you wait for your meal. They do sit down and take aways.

And if you need late night or early morning coffee the place next door is open all hours for you to...

We came looking for a place to eat in Livingston and perhaps picked the WORST place! The food took way over 40 minutes to come and then they continued to serve people who ordered after us. When the food came the chicken was cold the bread was hard and the salad looked days old. After probably the WORST shawarma I've ever had and finally even after we told the waiter the food was cold he had the cheek to say "no tip" under his breathe. I would NEVER recommend this a place for someone to come eat your probably better off going somewhere like...
