S'LO Lounge — Restaurant in Southern Province

We were in Livingstone for 2 nights and initially planned to visit S’lo for 1 of our 2 dinners. We had a terrible experience at one of our initially planned Venues and ended up going both nights.

Everything from the setting and food to the service was amazing. The wait staff as well as the manager were very kind & attentive, the wait time for food and drinks was perfect. Starters arrived within 10 mins of ordering and main course not too long after. The menu isn’t overwhelming and is filled with many options ranging from light meals to really hearty ones , all the food is really flavourful (that’s one of the best pizzas I’ve had) . Note: THE MEALS ARE EXTREMELY FILLING!

On both nights there was live music, a violinist and pianist respectively. For seating you have the option of sitting inside with a traditional dinner table setup or outside on the balcony couches !

The overall vibe and aesthetic of the place is unique - meshing fine dining and lounge vibes. I highly recommend this place. Very few hotels in Livingstone have good food and S’lo is in the heart of the city only 10 mins drive from most...

We were visiting Zambia for a couple days for the US. The restaurant was recommended by our hotel concierge. Our taxi drive from Alpha Taxi Livingstone took us there. (this service is so hospitable use them when you can). The restaurant decor is modern and well appointed. The food was great. It’s not in the touristy part of the town so the food reflects the locals cuisine and it was very very good. There is a main restaurant and an outside area also. We had the grilled Breem. Well done, delicious. We also had a couple of drinks. Nicely made. I would recommend to all visiting Livingstone. If we had another free night we would have definitely eaten...

The food…my husband is very picky and complains about everything…the fish in foil blew his mind.

Came in with my husband on a Wednesday night. The atmosphere was great, stylish interior, attention to details, warm light, comfortable furniture. The staff is incredibly friendly patient and helpful. We were served by a young man, he was very patient in helping me choose a dish to order, very well mannered and polite. Applause to the chef for such wonderful dishes and taste palettes 10/10. Will definitely come back once we visit...
