Read moreThe quest for the best breakfast place continues. I always appreciate reimagined concepts of things. Like the way this food was served on a cast iron grill plate. However, ergonomics matter. It was very much difficult to have the food on the grill because the surface was not flat and there wasnât any space to do anything. So, we had to request for side plates.
Onto the food itself. It was alright. I enjoyed the sausages the most and maybe the bread. Everything else was kinda an npc. The beans were a bit too watery so they lost their flavour. Iâm not a fan of mushrooms but my mom is, she said they werenât great. I usually love grilled tomatoes but I only had a bit of this one. Just a general comment on the breakfast menu, itâs very limited. There should be a greater...
Read moreSalt, a burger joint nestled in Harareâs bustling culinary scene, offers an experience that is both memorable and stylish. The menu showcases a range of gourmet burgers with premium ingredients and an undeniable attention to flavor. From the tender beef patties to the creative toppings, every bite is a testament to quality. The fact that the food is Halaal-certified broadens its appeal, ensuring diners of all backgrounds can indulge with confidence.
However, the indulgence comes at a cost. While the taste justifies some markup, prices do lean toward the pricier side, making it more of a special treat than a casual weekly dinner spot. Another consideration is the ambianceâthough Saltâs sleek, modern dĂ©cor and energetic vibe are a plus, it isnât particularly geared toward children. Young families may find the setup less than accommodating.
For food enthusiasts looking to explore Harareâs trendier side, Salt certainly delivers on flavor and flair. Just be prepared to pay a bit extra for the experience, and consider leaving the littlest...
