The stuff is rude, no public space, only private sunbeds 1000lek cost, that stay very close to each other.
We were renting one of the sunbeds pair from them for 7 days, coming in the morning, paying and leaving about 3pm for lunch. Sometimes we were not coming in the evening the same day again. But then one morning we came and found our sunbed all dirty, in the suncreme (but it was left clean). The stuff refused to change the mattress unless it was their fault. Only after arguing they took the dirty one to another sunbed, giving me the one from there. So you should have in mind that your already rented sunbed they can give for rent one more time during you left for lunch.
Ksamil as all others touristic places in Albania is my greatest disappointment. Never again I would visit this dirty, unwelcome country, full of arrogant drivers. Better to pay some extra and go...
Read moreDon't bother! Seriously! Don't believe the hype like I did and wasted time and money to visit this dirty, overcrowded, noisy place. Save yourself and go somewhere else. Ksamil is the worst place I've ever been. Yes, the water is blue but you can find blue water somewhere else. Go to corfu... 1 hour away and extremely clear waters. From there you can see Sarande from a distance. That's all you need. DISTANCE! Ksamil is almost a bad joke. It's one of those places that's going to test your senses in every single way. You don't have space to lay down on the sand, no peaceful strolling on the beach if that's what you're into. For the first time in my life, I saw a "double deck" beach - They built so much on top of the sand and water to fit more and more chairs that it destroyed its...
Read moreWe went to Ksamil on the 2nd week of June- THIS IS STILL LOW SEASON so prices I mention won’t be accurate if you go during July/August.
Not a sandy beach- more small tiny pebbles. You have to rent a sunbed as all these beaches are private. We paid €10 for 2 beds AFTER 2pm. It’s €10 per bed for the whole day. This seems to be the usual price everywhere.
All the restaurants attached serve similar food at similar prices. You just have to pick the spot for the beds you want. The food is FINE.
This area is slightly more cheaper than the other main beach where ‘ Greg’ is. That area is loud and VERY crowded.
Yes the music is loud, but it’s generally chill tropical house.
Had a nice chill time. During Early June only about 25% of the beds were used. This seems to be a decent...
