Beautfiful old palace in good shape and well taken care of. Access to the sta7 (roof) was not available when we visited. The second part of the palace is an architecture school, so not accessible. The current exhibition is about miniatures and there are some wonderful pieces from Iran, Uzbekhistan and other places. There is also very nice calligraphy. Entrance fee was 200 dn per adult. A must in Algers!

Beautiful ornate building. We were only able to visit half of it but what I saw was well worth the visit. Nice hand-painted ceramic tiles in the hammam. No 2 tiles the same. Nice kitchen area. Separate pathways for the nobles and the hired hands. The courtyard was really beautiful. The house now exhibits miniature paintings from several parts of the world.

lovely and well maintained place to learn about ancient life. the local guides are very knowledgable. the place has additional exhibitions as miniatures and traditional paintings. there are no facilities as coffee shop or even bathroom there. it's in 200 m from Metro station. unfortunately the short way is full of garbage with horrible smells.

Situated in the middle of the old casbah, it is Great historical place for one of the sultans of Algiers: mustapha pacha. Although the house is not that big, but Every detail of house tells a story about the turkish royal life. I recommend reading about it before you go, or request a guide from local tourism agencies.
