Easily one of the best $5 Iāve spent in my life. Loads of information on the cook landings and charting of Australia as well as plenty of local history and first peopleās artwork and artifacts.
For me though there was one true highlight which was the 100 year old orange. If only I had taken the time to ask about how it has been preserved for so long as I am still losing sleep thinking about it. How do they know itās 100 years old? I am in awe.
There were plenty of other beautiful local historical artifacts such as the restored fuel pump. Personally though the orange gave the museum its true zest.
I will definitely be back next time I am in the area. Recommend...
