Discovery Trail Lookout — Attraction in Agnes Water

The walk up to here wasn’t the easiest to find or to traverse! It’s mostly uphill (as you’re going to the lookout), with some steps and some dirt terrain. However, the view at the top is quite nice. The walk probably took about 10 minutes at a relatively fast pace and no stopping. The lookout area was quite windy - if you’re in the area and looking for a nice quick walk, I’d recommend! Lovely short walk which varies from 600m to 1000m one way depending which of the various tracks you take. A wee bit of a climb, but up top you get superb views back to the Agnes coast & upto 1770. We saw a wee tree snake halfway up. We went up on the track from the back gate of NRMA camp, and came down on track to the Community centre. About 3/4 hour all up with time for...

Lovely spot to look over the beaches that meet the rocky lookout. Easy access with plenty of car parking spaces. Wheelchair friendly (New path when we went makes for easier access) Information boards for the history buffs, if your in the area this lookout is definitely one to go see.
