OH MY GOODNESS!! We loved it here! It is Wheelchair friendly with a ramp, with seating on the deck or out under the beautiful gums on the grass. As you can imagine getting down to the beach is difficult in a Wheelchair, however I felt like I was on the edge of paradise. It was like medicine for my soul. The view was gorgeous, food was so tasty, really great portion sizes, came out quickly and was a fantastic price! And the coffee was so on point! Perfection. We had a few meals there while we were staying in Agnes Waters on Holidays, and we are going to be returning for sure in the future.
I must add... I do believe it was Heidi the owner, who added an extra charm to this quaint little beach shack cafe, she was sincere and made the plates of food with love. You could tell she wanted to be there, and that she wanted genuinely look after you. Her warmth came from the inner depths of her soul. This was evident especially on the weekends when the local kids would drop by for a quick snack between waves. She treated them all as her own, and you could see they respected her.
With regards to Wheelchair parking, you just need to ask the staff in the office at the entry of the caravan park to open the boom-gate for you so that you can park directly near the cafe. They are very happy to do so for you.
I can't wait...
Read moreAte here a while ago (30/06/21) and it was a major disaster. We ordered eggs benedict but due to the lack of numbers available for orders our meal soon became the 'pass the parcel' of meals. When we first saw the food come out we asked the waitress the table number she was ridiculously vague and told us it's not ours. We then watched the meal being taken around to people sitting on the grass near the beach, then to every table around us searching for who ordered it. Eventually it was returned and dumped by the cash register where people were queueing to order. Then someone realised it was ours and brought it over to us. We refused to accept the meal, and asked for a fresh one to be cooked. The waitress agreed to this request, but it came back out at lightning speed. As we suspected it was not freshly cooked. The original meal was handed back to us, as it was cold. By this stage we were very angry with the situation. They clearly thought we wouldn't see through what they had done. Some how this business is oblivious that there is covid around, but even worse their health and safety standards...
Read moreWe visited Saturday for what was to be my Birthday breakfast. We didn’t bring a pram as thought there would be high chairs for our 1yr old. We walked in and 2 of the staff looked at us but did not say a thing. I thought it was slightly rude but proceeded to find a table as there were limited options due to wet weather - I found a table but then asked my husband to request a high chair. A staff member making coffee overheard me and said “you won’t get one from me” and just stared at us? We were shocked at the rudeness and decided to leave and try elsewhere, where we had a wonderful experience and tasty breakfast - and were provided with a high chair. Such a shame, as it’s a lovely outlook but just a horrible female staff member and ruined...
