Mantaray Charters — Attraction in Airlie Beach

Disrespectful!!!

If you like to plan your trip on advance and have everything organized on scheduled, planing what to do everyday, DO NOT book with them!!

That’s what happened to me! I booked with Mantaray on advance because I had all my days planned, since I was going to be in Airlie Beach for only 4 full days! I booked to have the day trip on Sunday with scuba diving, snorkel and the trip to Whitehaven, which I though it would be a good idea since i was going to have all at once, and they called me Saturday afternoon canceling asking if I could go on Monday, saying that there wasn’t enough people on the boat (BUT email said it was because of a family tragedy... so don’t know what to believe) I said ok, Becuse fortunately I haven’t bought the tickets to Hamilton island, so I just changed the days - Hamilton island and mantaray trip -

It was ok till they call me at the end of the day on Sunday, I was still at the island, saying they would have to cancel AGAIN and move me to Tuesday... the thing is that like i said, I planned my trip and I COUDNT go SCUBA diving on Tuesday since I was going to SKY dive on Wednesday. They just DONT THINK about you, your plans and that you might have something else planned on the other day (which is obviously I would have since it’s a holiday).

What I did is get the refound And booked super last time and with another company and fortunately they had the two spots left that I needed, and I highly recommend them...

Disrespectful service!!

I booked a tour online with Mantaray for Sunday. I got a call from them on Saturday afternoon cancelling the day trip because it wasn't enough people to go. So they transferred us for Monday which I was fine about it but then on Sunday they cancelled it AGAIN for the same reason. That made me reschedule all my days tour in the island because they NOT CARE AT ALL for those who already bought tickets to go with them. Cancelling one day it's Ok however cancelling twice it's not responsable and it doesn't show respect with your customers. I don't recommend them especially if you have schedule...

Disappointment! Disrespectful! We wanted to book a tour on sunday for monday but were told that they don't do a tour on monday but on tuesday. So we changed our plans and stayed a day longer. On monday in the evening they called us to cancel the tour. Really disappointing and not ok. They could have called earlier so that we could have booked...
