Wow, this place is beautiful. The beach itself is so long, almost all the way down to Stockton by the looks of it, massive. Then there are the sand dunes, amazing huge sand dunes rising out if the back of the beach. Camel rides, ATV tours. Plenty of parking if you follow the road right round. Even parking on the sand if you need to. What a site, well worth a visit.

Absolute stunner. The family-run business offering the best customer service with professional staff and their fleet of 4WD trucks is amazing. Very smooth online transaction along with accurate instructions to follow. Will visit again.

Sunrise at the Bay was so amazing. I went on running on the beach for 10k. Then we had best experience on 4W drive on Sand Dunes and Sand Surfing. It was so windy day but we enjoyed there. They charged $35 for this experience.

Team at Sand Dunes Anna Bay are quite friendly and did the ticketing formalities without a hitch. Once you get to the place, your tickets are validated and would be asked to wait for 10 minutes max before your ride is up.

Had excellent sand surfing experience. Instructed relayed the standard how-to of getting things done. There were some big ones and small ones where you can do all your acrobats. Going down was a hoot and coming back was like climbing a mountain on a spiked land without shoes. Sun was scorching hot, so it would be good to time when you want to do and set it preferably during cooler times.

Coming to the vehicles, the ride was smoother for us but my friend who was in another vehicle when returning had vomitings once back due to uneven speed with which the vehicle came back. I would say it would be good if the team can let the drivers know to just not rush and go in a easy fashion. Team were very helpful by providing hydrolites and helping him settle.

Apart from that, overall we had a...

The Stockton sand dunes (which stretch up here to Anna Bay) are the largest coastal sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere. Here's how to explore:

👉 If you have a 4WD, just look for the labeled tracks and drive around yourself! The Stockton Dunes (about halfway down the beach) are equally popular.

👉 If you'd like to see more (including the Tin City where Mad Max was filmed), hop on a tour. Most tours include sand sledding down the dunes.

👉 Ride a camel. 🐫 They don't go far or over dunes, but it's a great experience.

❗Beach too crowded? Follow the path north (near the Anna Bay Skate park) and you'll find a beach where most tourists don't go. And great rock formations, too.

🚘 About parking. It gets crowded on weekends and holidays. Get there early. Otherwise, expect some driving around, although parking on the side of the road is allowed.

🍴Not lots of options, just one crowded cafe. Pack picnic if you can.

Enjoy this amazing natural resource on...
