My experience at Crest Birubi Beach this morning was incredibly disappointing due to the abhorrent behavior of the staff, particularly a young man who was working at the front. Arriving with my partner and beloved dog at 9 am on Tuesday, March 26th, I was hoping for a pleasant breakfast overlooking the sea. However, my expectations were shattered from the moment we stepped foot in the establishment. Despite the abundance of dogs on the beach, the restaurant lacked outdoor seating, which meant I couldn't enjoy a coffee with my furry companion by my side. Reluctantly leaving my dog outside, I opted to sit indoors, as close to him as possible. As I was preparing a spot for my dog outside, a group approached the table nearest to him, which I had intended to occupy. Politely, I asked if they would mind relinquishing the table, explaining that I had my dog outside. To my relief, they graciously agreed. However, my relief was short-lived as a young staff member intervened, adamantly instructing the group not to relocate. Attempting to reason with him, I explained the situation, detailing how I had been outside preparing my dog for several minutes. Unfortunately, my efforts fell on deaf ears as the staff member proceeded to berate me, raising his voice and hurling accusations. His blatant disregard for customer service and lack of empathy left me stunned and distressed. I've never encountered such appalling behavior in any establishment, let alone one in such a picturesque location. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this restaurant and would caution others against subjecting themselves to such deplorable treatment. It's truly disheartening to witness how a single staff member can tarnish the reputation of an entire establishment with their rudeness and disrespect towards customers.

Crest is one of the best restaurants to visit if you’re planning a trip to Anna Bay. It has a wonderful sweeping view of the Birubi beach and the amazing sandscape of stockton sand dunes. For the best experience, sit along the windows which can be fully stacked open offering an unobstructed view of the beach (windows closed when high winds occur, but the view is still beautiful). Apart from the beach views, you can also enjoy the camel walking along the sand dunes. Crest opens 7 days offering breakfast, lunch & sunset dinner menus. Each menu contains no more than 16 dishes, keep it simple and well managed. There’s also daily specials so don’t forget to took at the blackboard. Some of the dishes I recommend for lunch include: Cambodian salad, steak sandwich, prawns (and mixed berry pancake before 11:30am). Each dish is beautifully plated and tasted very nice. The dishes are overpriced and portions are a bit small. Overall, at beautiful restaurant filled with light on a sunny blue sky day. It offers close beachfront views and camel rides from afar. The food is good, but personally the price is similar to what you will pay at a fine dining restaurant. It would be more justifiable if the portions were bigger!

Visited on Tuesday 13th Sept Ordered the Pork Belly, Fish n Chips, Iced Coffee and a glass of Nova Vita Pinot Gris The Pork Belly skin wasn't crackling enough to my liking, it was meant to be golden crispy and should bring out the flavour of the pork belly. The top of half of the meat was moist and the bottom half was too dry. The whole piece should be consistent throughout. The Fish n Chips was an overall disappointment, the fish fillets were supposed to be dry and moist, but it seemed too wet when it went into the fryer, as the batter wasn't sticking onto the fish fillets. They easily fell apart overall. The cafe had an average rating but the view was just too good to downgrade it overall. So if you're looking for better food, then this isn't the place, but for the view, hands down for it If you have cash, bring it to pay, otherwise if you don't mind paying for the surcharge, better to pay at the counter rather than using the QR code app, as the surcharge is higher, possibly due to being able to get rewards points (that's only if you don't go there frequently)

Service here was appauling from front of house, to meal delivery to exit. It's such a beautiful view from the inside but that's about it. The dirty self serve water cooler is disgusting and looks like it's a hand wash station for a port-a-potty. The pumpkin salad was ok once you found the pumpkin and tiny pieces of chicken amongst the mountains of spinach leaves. The raisins were probably the best part of it. Presentation was poor. The fish was not very nice either, I think the take away shop down the road does better. Kids meal overcooked or just bad oil... this was our first time here and never again.. we were so excited finding this place and thought we found a gem here but it ended up being a really rough diamond in disguise. So disappointing with our visit here not only with the food but especially with the service .

Response to owner: I do appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day to attack my honest review, i am sorry if my review upset you. I would like to clarify that your water station was very unclean , it even had dirty and used serviettes on it and yes we had to ask for clean glasses which was not nicely accepted. On entry we were not greeted an no we certainly were not dressed unacceptable or look like unruly people, when I asked to be seated the response was... go wherever ya want! And yes when the meal arrived I did NICELY question the pumpkin as there was NO pumpkin visible AT ALL, only green leaves plopped high, and the I was told..." should be some pumpkin somewhere in there" with a giggle... the small bit I eventually found was nice but still remained small after putting my glasses on!! I wish I wasn't wearing my glasses when I went to the water cooler! I am however happy to know it wasn't bad oil being used so in that case I do hope you give your chefs a little advice on how to produce a nice golden touch on your meals and not overcook. We did have a wonderful day that day, yes we were disappointed with our visit however we didn't ask for refunds, we just put it down to an ordinary experience, I do only hope providing feedback can help your business become more successful after all if you dont know , you can't fix these teething issues. The view is amazing and you sure have potential to be one of the best, I'm...

It is with great pleasure that I pen this distinguished review recounting my family's recent luncheon experience at this exquisite establishment. Nestled amidst a captivating backdrop, the sheer beauty of the setting was truly a sight to behold, as we reveled in the majestic expanse of the ocean, heightened by a serendipitous encounter with a magnificent whale.

From the very moment we stepped foot in this esteemed establishment, we were met with an unparalleled warmth and hospitality by the staff, who exuded a remarkable amiability. Their unwavering commitment to ensuring our utmost satisfaction was evident throughout our visit, as they attended to our needs with genuine care and attentiveness.

In terms of culinary delights, our expectations were surpassed as our orders graced our table with commendable swiftness. The delectable fare that awaited us was a testament to the culinary mastery within these esteemed walls. Each dish, crafted with precision and finesse, exuded an enticing aroma that whetted our appetites. To my utmost delight, even my discerning offspring, known for their selective palates, succumbed to the charms of the flavors presented before them, completing their meals with gusto.

In conclusion, our luncheon affair at this establishment was a veritable symphony of excellence, where the seamless fusion of a picturesque setting, delightful encounters with nature, and the exemplary professionalism of the staff converged to create an experience that will linger in our memories. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to all who seek to indulge in a dining experience that transcends the ordinary and embraces the...
