Went here for a swim a few times- found that the surfers at this beach have no respect for the swimmers- seen a young guy surf over the top of a elderly man and cut his back with the fin on the surf board- all the time i was in the water i was trying to move out of the way of being hit by a surf board as the surfers wasnt obeying the surf outside of the swimming area. as evening came i was bitten by sand flies. in saying all this , i have to say the good part too, the park is nice...

A very large and well kept park at Bargara, Qld. With the land designated by the authorities in 1912, this park has a long history in the community.
