I recently had the pleasure of attending the Tulip Festival at Corbett Gardens in Bowral and I must say it was a breathtaking experience. From the moment I stepped into the gardens, I was greeted by an array of vibrant colors and a delightful fragrance that instantly uplifted my spirits. First and foremost, the tulips themselves were absolutely stunning. The garden was adorned with thousands of tulip blooms of various hues, creating a visual spectacle that was nothing short of mesmerizing. It was as if I had stepped into a magical wonderland, surrounded by nature's own work of art. The meticulous planning and attention to detail in arranging the tulips showcased the true beauty and diversity of this captivating flower. The overall atmosphere at the festival was one of pure joy and happiness. Families and friends gathered together, strolling through the gardens with smiles on their faces, taking in the breathtaking scenery around them. The joyful laughter of children filled the air, as they delighted in the opportunity to explore the vast expanse of tulips and engage in fun activities specially organized for them. What truly impressed me was the organization and dedication of the festival's staff and volunteers. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to assist visitors with a warm smile. Their enthusiasm and passion for the festival were on full display, as they shared interesting facts about tulips and offered helpful tips to fully enjoy the experience. Apart from the tulips themselves, the festival offered a variety of other attractions and entertainment for all ages. From live music performances to local food vendors, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was my first time going to this small garden in Bowral. Disappointed that there were not as many varieties on display as I expected to see. There were lots of portable trucks to buy food, hot and cold drinks also icecream from and a stage where some entertainment occurred during the day with a few rows of seats in front of a small grass area. On the path next to the stage, a man had his 3 trained parrots he was telling people 'not to touch' sitting on a billboard. The parrot in the middle liked to bop up and down to the music. Do not ask for recommendations where to eat & can you buy a 'traditional' Vanilla Slice in Bowral as I did from a volunteer Lady Rotarian. We went to gumnut on her advice, waited 30mins. Once inside extremely disappointed they do not make traditional Vanilla Slices, they make Mille Fueille, so we wasted our time. Her suggestion for where to eat was the royal hotel, that was worse, felt awful after eating there.

UPDATE 2023 - more Tulips more wow!! This year sunny and beautiful variety of tulips. Head to buy tickets on line no ticket at venue. Was a sell out on Saturday. Live band, food stalls and good coffee. Some families took picnics ( park not huge though) awesome festival. Toilets in park and parking okay had a five minute walk. Tulips Tulips Tulips - WOW WOW WOW Need tickets for this but inexpensive at $13 each or get a family pass. We saw the tulips in the daytime and under lights. Both sessions were fabulous. This is a really good activity for a family or couples. We went on a Friday ( work day for others) and Saturday night. We noticed Sunday had a long queue to enter. Good backdrop to some glamour photoshoots. Food stalls and a outside cafΓ© on site also in the night a live band. Toilets and easy parking. Love from your local guide - Margaret

Went to this place during tulip festival. It is small park. This is my first visit here. This is onetime place to visit. There are few stalls in this gardens. Honey taste is good. We visited on weekend. I feel crowd is more than flowers ππ. Ticket cost for adult is 13$. For kids under 12 it is free. Not a worth to visit second time. Initially thought of going to Canberra tulip show but ended of going here as we need to come back to Sydney on same day. I have to 5 star to Bowral city. There is also music concert in this garden however less people interested. I think most of people came for photos not to enjoy nature. πππ. Finally if possible please visit on weekdays.this flower show is season based so this much crowd.

Finally got to attend the Bowral Tulip Festival. πππ They were very pretty and colourful, but to be honest... the park was much smaller than I'd expected and I would have liked to see some more creative flower bed arrangements? π€ As you'd expect, the gardens were packed of visitors and long queues in order to enter. FYI... there's 2 sets of queues, the longest was for Pre-paid and Locals (who can enter for free) and the other for standard Ticket Purchases. I think the $15:50 entry fee is pretty steep for what's actually on display, but I guess the money will go to worthy causes? Parking is a very tricky issue... so leave extra time for cruising around the local streets for an empty space! ππ€
