I come to Janeks each day to work in an atmosphere of kindness generosity and peace I would like to report a Man who has written a false review came in incident I witnessed and had to intervene to protect two young women who were alone working together because no man can treat any generous staff in this way. I was about to call the police because he and his family were upsetting several vulnerable clients and he only did so because when he started there were only women present. This is Australia Take down your review MJ as I've reported it now to police and Google... YOU WERE SCREAMING AT US ALL FRIGHTENING YOUR SON FRIGHTENING YOUR SUPPOSED BABY FRIGHTENING EVERYONE. You were terrifying your own children and our lovely local people one client had her baby and was terrified this is when I interviened MJ★2 days ago New $20-40 We arrived at 4:10 PM (well before their 5 PM closing time listed online and, on their door,), only to be told they were "closed" and could only do takeaway, yet others were later seen ordering and waiting inside. While waiting for our coffee, a staff member approached me and pointed out that my 6-year-old was wiping condensation from the fridge door. I immediately asked him to stop, which he did. But the staff member looked unhappy and seemed to expect more from me than just stopping my child. Shockingly, she then approached me rudely, demanding, "Is that it?" When I asked what more she expected, she threatened to cancel our order. Some patrons nearby seemed to support her, saying it had been a busy and hard day for the staff. I asked, "So what? Is that a reason to talk rudely to customers and a child?" Her attitude was hostile and completely inappropriate, especially toward a child. When I asked to speak to the actual manager, she claimed she was the manager. Her behavior escalated, including snapping her fingers at me and trying to confront me again until another staff member intervened. What should have been a simple coffee stop turned into an upsetting and humiliating ordeal for my entire family, including a 6-year-old and a 7-week-old baby. The contrast in treatment compared to other customers was blatant, unfair, and felt racist, especially as visitors to the area for the first time. This staff member seriously lacks professionalism and basic customer service skills. She clearly needs training, especially on how to treat families and children with respect Service: 1/5

Read moreA place of absolute chaos, rude staff and a complete lack of customer service. Visited this cafe with 7 adults and 2 kids on a Sunday for lunch and it was just one disappointment after another.
took us 20 minutes to order food after the first time we asked to order. Despite them taking so long to attend to us, each time we asked, the gentlemen there was extremely impatient and rude, stating that he has already told us that someone will come out in a couple of mins, clearly not an accurate indication of time staff had no idea what drinks they were bringing out to us resulting in mix ups and a confusing between decaf/normal coffees we ordered 2 sandwiches on Turkish bread and asked for the bread to be fresh and not toasted. The orders came out with toasted sourdough bread. After asking the waitress, she stated that it was Turkish bread. We had to load a picture of Turkish bread on our phones for her to admit the mistake. Again there was no apology. We ordered 5 burgers. 1 was missing. The pattie of the beef burger we ordered was almost completely raw and soft/slimy. When we complained, a man who appeared to be the owner/manager came out and stated that the meat was not raw and that is how they cooked it. What was more appalling was that he said he could not offer a refund as we had eaten most of the burger. What a complete lie! We had only taken 1 bite, to which he asked to see the bite we spat out into a napkin. We had to ask several times for cutlery. Once everyone had finished eating, there was still no sign of the missing burger. As everyone had finished eating already, we asked them to cancel the missing burger as we had asked for it numerous times and it was taking far too long. We then asked for the bill. The gentlemen at the till then stated that we had in fact received all 5 burgers and therefore charged us accordingly. We were made to feel like liars. Luckily the waitresses were able to confirm that this was not the case.
Needless to say, this was the worst customer service we have ever received at a cafe. Clearly the cafe is all about the money and not...
