My family and I visited Bartley's Hill Lookout recently, and it was an enjoyable experience. The lookout is well-kept, and the views are nice, even if they aren’t particularly extraordinary. It’s an easy location to reach, and the parking is sufficient. We took some time to relax and enjoy the fresh air, which was refreshing. While it’s not a must-see destination, it’s a satisfactory spot for a short visit. If you’re in the vicinity, consider stopping by, but don’t expect breathtaking scenery. Overall, a good place to spend some time outdoors...

One of Brisbane's best views tucked away behind Ascot. You can see Brisbane the river city from the northern side and its beautiful.

Even better at night with some incredible reflections especially on a moonlight night. You feel so close to the city.. it is almost as if you can reach out and touch it.

There are a few benches to sit and take in the view or have a quiet bite to eat.

About 6 car parks next to Brisbane's water supply tanks makes it easy to stroll just 10 metres to the viewing point.

One of Brisbane's best kept secrets......

It's okay... there is a view of the city but most of it is blocked off by the overgrown trees. There are some benches that are positioned great for the view, except for the fact that you're sitting too low to see anything from them.

There used to be enough parking spaces, but some recent works to the water storage facility up there has meant a closure of the parking.

Not much else up there, except for the view, just a decent little walk (or super quick drive) to get to a poor man's (ironically, in an affluent area) version of Mt...

I didn’t even realise this existed until I stumbled across it on maps! I live in Newstead so it’s a much easier viewpoint to access instead of driving to Mount Coot-Tha or Mount Gravatt. Only one bench and it doesn’t seem an appropriate place to sit and have a picnic etc but it was nice to call by for a quick pit stop on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Easy parking to get out and view the sites from the top of Bartleys Hill. One side is cloaked by a water storage facility but with a little walk there are views of the city, Mt Cootha and the Gateway Bridge and port side. Shady seats to sit relax and enjoy in peace

Nice view of the city and easy to access from the city via bus route 301. Just a 6-minute walk up the hill from the bus stop. Spending 10-15 minutes there is enough, but it's worth the trip at least once for a nice view of the city.
