Mid week around lunch time... Not many places to park along side the grounds if you intend to park close by to the playground. Beautiful shady spots under the great big fig trees. The closest toilet is across the soccer fields so if there were games playing & multitudes of people to get around, it would be a damn good mission to make it for your little ones or if you were busting. Big open park though to kick the ball around and wooden seats every 20metres. Watch out for the Iris birds! Have fun kids climbing up the Fig trees & if you forget something for in your picnic basket... Don't stress Woolworths Supermarket & other cafรฉs are right across the road. So is Brumby's Bakery๐Ÿ˜

A lovely shady playground right in the middle of Bulimba village. Nice for kids to be able to play and not get cooked in the sun... Particularly in the middle of the Brisbane summer! A decent amount of street parking and close to bus stops, plus the village has lots of food options.

#ANZAC Day 2024. A tremendous Community turnout led by our State Government and Local Council members, honouring our brave Defence Services people who have given their lives or are currently serving that we may continue to have peace. Lest. We. Forget. ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ ๐ŸŽ–

Bulimba Memorial Park is located at 129 Oxford St,Bulimba QLD 4171.

This is a wonderful public place to take your children to enjoy the open grassed areas & excellent playground areas that are suitably located under the coverage of large Moreton Bay Fig trees ๐ŸŒณ

This park has a large open grassed area which can cater to soccer, cricket ๐Ÿ & other assortment of sports activities.

Bulimba Memorial Park has a number of soldier & sailor memorials located around the park & can cater for special memorial events such as Anzac Day.

This park has public toilets onsite on one side where the Bandstand is located.

Families can also choose to have picnics in the shaded areas near where the children play areas are located.

Bulimba Memorial Park is close to all the coffee shops & restaurants, plus & other assortments of shopping outlets.

The hotel located at 152 Oxford Street, Bulimba, is definitely a great place for counter lunches & a cool ale ๐Ÿบ or wine ๐Ÿท ๐Ÿ˜€

Plenty of street parking is available in & around the local area of the Memorial Park.

A great place also for people with disabilities as this park is user-friendly for wheelchair access ๐Ÿ˜€

Overall, I was more than impressed with the park being located in the mainstream of Oxford Street, Bulimba, & within easy walking distance to the Bulimba City...

Great park for the kids. Close by to Oxford Street and Woolworths so one parent can get the groceries while the other entertains the kids across the road. Well shaded and bark chip ground cover for soft landings. Fenced on 3 sides to keep the kids contained eith a huge grassy playing field on the unfenced side (plenty of time to catch runaways before they get into any strife). A mix of large and small play equipment for littlies up to pre-teens. Coffee shop, bakery, atm and newsagent also within...
