Yum Yum Gyoza House — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Went in for a late dinner after watching movie right across the street at Oxford shopping precinct. All the restaurants were closed at 9:30 pm on a weekend. Yum Yum Gyoza House seemed open and inviting and we dashed in. The staff was very friendly and happy to serve us even late i.e., close to their closing time. First came in the Pad Thai that was downright delicious and the serving was really enough for 2 people. To my personal taste they were slightly on a sweeter side. Also ordered Hookien noodles, Miso Soup and Kung Pao chicken that had slightly a vinegarish taste but went well with the rice served with it. The portion size were all get-me-fat-soon and food pricing was definitely value for money. I tried this place out for the very first time and was prepared to be turned away as it was 9:53pm (they close at 10pm) but instead I was greeted with a friendly smile and handed their menu, it was the best customer service I've received in years and I knew that I'd be back again. I didn't know what to expect with the quality and flavour of the food here and as a fine dining chef myself I've been disappointed more times than satisfied (there's never any good excuse for producing tasteless poor quality food IMO) But wowsers, I was blown away from my first bite into the pork gyoza even the soy sauce was delicious 😋 my satisfaction levels kept on climbing when I started eating the Singapore noodles. I recently ordered from Yum Yum Gyoza, and I was so impressed with their prawn gyoza and chicken karaage! The prawn gyoza were absolutely delicious – perfectly crispy on the outside with a juicy and flavorful prawn filling inside.
