Bennie Adam Ice Cream Bulimba — Restaurant in Brisbane City

So, before the opening of your first store, I was one of the first person following you on social media and ever since then I was hyped to taste your ice cream. All the images, videos looked beautiful and built up my excitement. However, last week, on a lazy weekday, I travelled 22kms to try your famous Pistachios ice cream. As soon as I stepped in, all the flavours looked bland. No toppings on top. Alright. Never judged a book by its cover. You had just one Pistachios flavour which was green in color so I went for the thick shake. Service was good and as soon as I tasted it, it was quite good. But the most disappointing part was there were no pistachios in it. It was just ice cream. I mean all the social media posts where you had toppings seemed fake because even the presentation on display was missing. I bet you would have served me ice cream with no toppings. You guys are fine ice cream parlour and have been featured on MustDO Brisbane list so serve it with quality. My local ice cream shop serves with a big handful of Pistachios in the shake which makes the taste so...

This is hands down the best ice-cream I have ever had, bar none, nothing even comes remotely close.

The flavours are amazing, sometimes tasting even more impactful than their respective names. For example, I don't like Lotus Biscoff, but both of their biscoff flavours blew me away and in many ways had a far richer and in depth flavour profile than plain old Biscoff. Another example is the Milo Explosion flavour, everything you would love about Milo, just far more refined and rich.

My absolute favourites are The Banana Pecan Deluxe, Creme Brulee and the Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge, the Red Berry Cheesecake flavour was absolutely delicious also, I would have a long list and keep going because everything I tried was mention worthy!

I'm not even an ice-cream person, I normally prefer frozen yoghurt or sorbet. Congratulations Bennie Adam, you've officially changed that, only since I am from Victoria, I won't be able to find anything remotely close.

They have so many delicious, homemade, fresh ice creams to choose from, we didn’t know where to start! 🤷🏻‍♀️ but our lovely server Mariam, helped me pick my order ❤️

We, eventually, tried the Salted Caramel, Rainbow and the amazing Pistachio Praline in a Baklava bowl 😍🤤😍🤤

Honestly, it was perfect! Silky smooth flavours, the depth and intensity of the salted caramel was next level, it was a caramel lovers dream!

The Pistachio Praline Baklava bowl was the best combination, the pistachio was filled with actual pistachios and the flavour took me to back to my travelling days 😍 Now the baklava bowl with Persian fairy floss was amazing!!!! Each layer of filo was filled to the rim with nuts and sugar syrup, it was a flavour party in my mouth!

To top it off, they are Muslim owned! This place is now my new favourite ice cream joint, can’t wait to come again!...
