A Five-Star Culinary Gem – Adda Indian Restaurant
If you’re looking for a truly outstanding vegetarian dining experience in Brisbane, Adda Indian Restaurant is the place to be! My recent visit left me beyond impressed, and I can't help but rave about every aspect of this incredible eatery.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal! As vegetarians, we often find limited options or dishes that lack depth, but Adda shattered all expectations. Every single vegetarian dish was cooked to absolute perfection. The attention to detail was remarkable — from perfectly roasted vegetables bursting with flavor to dishes that had just the right balance of spices. The portion sizes were generous, making it excellent value for money.
What truly elevates Adda is its exceptional staff. Each team member was diligent, smart, and worked with such grace and efficiency. Their attentive and professional service added to the experience, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of.
Adda Indian Restaurant is a true gem, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, flavorful, and memorable vegetarian feast. It’s a well-deserved 5-star experience...
Read moreOne word... SCRUMPTIOUS. This was our second visit with friends. Our mains were a sizzling lamb, chicken biryani and palak paneer. The side dishes were spinach with cheese and garlic naan + paratha ( Wholemeal crispy bread), raita and saffron rice. The food was cooked to perfection and was packed with flavour and some spice. Our friends praised it and even rated Adda as the best Indian food they tried in Brisbane.
Below is our first visit. We ordered a mild butter chicken, mild lamb palak ( spinach), garlic naan and spinach with cheese and garlic naan with saffron rice. The butter chicken had that wonderful sweet flavour, whilst the palak was flavoursome with a slight hint of spice.
Atmosphere was spacious, inviting and more importantly comfortable. The service was quick, efficient and friendly.
A perfect place for family...
Read moreI have eaten at many Indian restaurants in Brisbane. Most are not authentic, and not close to the quality of Sydney's Indian food. Came with high expectations given all the great reviews of Adda. Indo Chinese Cauliflower was good. Unfortunately the Chicken tikka was awful. Says on the menu that it comes from a tandoor- in actual fact its roast chicken with no flavour. When I asked the manager about it they admitted they just put it in an oven because tandoor takes long. You have 'from the tandoor' in the description- its deceitful to not cook it in the way you describe on the menu. Same as putting food in a microwave and serving it up. Butter chicken was average- they use the same bland oven cooked chicken. Not sure how many of these reviews are from connoisseurs of Indian cuisine....
