Newstead house has a lot of history about the the house and the grounds. The grounds are immaculate and perfect which I think is very good. Inside the house their is a lot of history to get your head around but how the house is setup it is perfect. The house and grounds are beautiful in every way. But their is only one problem their is not enough parking and even when their is the driveway is too small and it is hard to park and if you park on the street you have to pay😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩. It was interesting and each room was presented nicely with information signs to read about the history / stories. Seeing the servants quarters underneath the house was cool. And stunning river / park views from the balcony. Enjoyed visiting. Toilets were available onsite, but there are also some public toilets in the nearby park. There is a fantastic view of the river and surroundings. We had very lovely lady as our guide, sh ws very knowledgeable of th house and its history. It is definitely orth a visit. I am sorry but I cannot remembr our guides name. She was an absolutely lovely lady and gave as much time to my family a we reuired to see the house n contents.
