When my family organised for us to attend the $170 Easter Egg Workshop, my first thought was: holy moly, that’s a lot of money! I couldn’t see how it could possibly be worth it. But oh my goodness — I was so wrong. It was worth every single penny, and then some!
Dawn was an absolutely amazing facilitator. She ran the class with such effortless ease — fun, helpful, and full of warmth. You really felt like she was on your side, which is something rare, but it makes such a huge difference.
Usually, at events like this that involve food decorating, there can be a bit of awkwardness — not knowing what you can or can’t do. But not in this class! You have total freedom to create whatever you want. If that means putting every single topping into one egg — go for it! You get to do it your way, and there’s no pressure to hold back on the mix-ins. This freedom is what truly made it a standout experience for me — it’s the sole reason I know I’ll be coming back. You honestly feel like a little kid in a candy store, getting to try all these yummy treats without anyone telling you to be careful or use less. That joy and sense of playfulness (and indulgence!) is something really special – so I hope that continues!
And you can munch away on the extras, which just adds to the feeling that you’ve stepped into Willy Wonka’s lab!
Finally, the quality of the chocolate and the mix-ins is out of this world. Honestly, it’s the best chocolate, caramel, and cookie dough I’ve ever had. I’ve already told my family that we are definitely doing this again next year.
The only downside to this class? You’ll never look at ‘normal’ chocolate the same way again — because these Easter egg creations are hands down the best I’ve...
Read moreSo I’m taking a star off purely for communication. The products are phenomenal and definitely worth a try and a repurchase. I’ve also placed orders to ship to family members for them to try. However communication is off. My initial order had like eleven things and I only received four or five out of eleven and they didn’t seem to know. When I rang it was a quick and easy fix but again they couldn’t tell me if they knew that things were missing, if they didn’t have stock to send and that was why or whatever, there was no explanation to it. I recieved a call the next day just before 9am nsw time letting me know my missing items were being posted that day but again no explanation nor apology. Just they’re coming. Then I kinda thought and hoped there might be something in the new package coming like apologies for the inconvenience or something, nope. Delivery was really fast though and they put a little ice pack in the box in hopes to keep things cool during travel which is a nice thought. Anyway that’s my thoughts. Really nice products at a reasonable price point and worth having, just communication was a real let down. My expectations may a bit higher being a customer service position but it just seemed like there was no recognition for the fumble or that there even was one and something that’s such a small thing that can be a really quick fix with just recognition is instead turned into a memorable slight disappointment if that...
Read moreIn July 2022 I was given a gift of New Farm Confectionery milk chocolate rocky road(batch 163696, best before 26 Jul 22). Unfortunately the product was very disappointing. Chocolate - The chocolate was extremely sweet(almost sickly sweet) and had a texture that was grainy like undissolved sugar it was also dry and crumbly. Marshmallow - Marshmallow was virtually non existent. What was there, was very small pieces. Nuts - pistachio nuts are nice, but you need to be a little more liberal with their application. Jelly/Turkish delight - The Turkish Delight suffered from previously highlight problems, very small pieces and very scarce. There was however a ginger flavoured soft jelly Lolly that dominated every piece of rocky road. Once you had that ginger in your mouth it overpowered all the other flavours and was not pleasant.
To be honest, having been so impressed with some of your other products this was a real disaster. Maybe I just got...
