Stones Corner Flower Shop — Attraction in Brisbane City

Wow, what can I say- I wanted to order beautiful flowers for my Doctor because she is amazing and compassionate and has helped me for many years, as I have complex medical needs, and most doctors run as I’m far too complex. Chocolates were just not enough to thank her, and as I was in hospital for the seventh time this year, and she has helped me enormously, I wanted nothing but the best for her.

I did the usual google search, as I had used a large online company before and was severely disappointed with their poor quality of flowers, their disgusting lack of customer service once they had your money, so I wanted to try a local small business to the hospital (Greenslopes Private) that would appreciate the business and put some effort in supplying decent quality flowers.

I read the reviews, and looked at what they sold, and couldn’t believe how highly rated they were and their flowers looked absolutely gorgeous in the photos. Once looking online, I also saw that they sold hand made chocolates at a very reasonable price, and also lovely quality gift cards.

So I ended up ordering all three. I was surprised that I could get all that for not much more than the online garbage.

Unfortunately after I completed my order online, I saw that their delivery hours were til 5pm, and forgot that my doctors office closes at 4. As it was close of business by then, I panicked, and left a voicemail message explaining my error and if it was possible that they could be delivered by four, and I understood that it was late notice, so was happy for the delivery to be a day late due to my error. I also thought that they would contact me the next day to discuss my options.

I was blown away when only an hour later I had a message on my phone, and it was the owner, saying not to worry, she got my message and could make sure it wasn’t delivered after hours and that I didn’t need to change the day.

She could not have been more helpful, and even wished me well with my health.

I have dealt with many businesses online for quite some time, as I am disabled and it is difficult for me to get to the shops.

I have had some extremely poor result to some very good ones. You can read the number of stars but often it’s not a true representation of the business.

So I now take the extra time to always read the comments as well, and there were many glowing reviews.

I try to send flowers for special occasions, when my loved ones are very unwell, to say thank you or unfortunately, for funerals.

My doctor received them they were the most beautiful flowers she had ever been given, and the chocolates and cards were gorgeous. I was so pleased that the reviews were correct and that their images matched their products.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. They now have a customer for life.

Please consider them as they are a small business but not only have quality products at a great price, but I have to say their customer service is up there in my top three best ever online shopping experiences.

Wow.... I don’t even know where to start! I don’t think I have ever in my life received the customer service like I have received today.

Lynette from Stones Corner Flower Shop was efficient, kind, caring, thoughtful and went out of her way literally to make sure my good friend who is battling cancer (which she didn’t even know about) received her flowers.

There was a mixup and I didn’t realise there was two hospitals, the driver went to the hospital to find out my friend wasn’t at that hospital but at another. She said she would waive the extra delivery fee and the driver then drove the flowers this afternoon to the correct hospital. The hospital then said they don’t accept deliveries due to COVID-19 so the driver left but then turned around to meet my friends fiancé to drop the flowers off to.

The service today was far and beyond my expectations of a business and I want to thank you so much Lynette for what you have done today.

If you are looking for a florist, THIS IS THE BEST SERVICE YOU WILL EVER RECEIVE!! I couldn’t imagine any other florist ever doing what was done today. Not to mention the flower arrangements were absolutely beautiful and Lynette had actually put a few more flowers in then I had originally purchased.

I still can’t get over how kind and thoughtful Lynette is, and thank you isn’t enough. If I could give them more stars I would.

I recently had an outstanding experience with Stones Corner Flower Shop. I ordered a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to my friend who was in the hospital. I was very impressed with the level of service I received from the staff at Stones Corner Flower Shop.

When I placed my order, I was told that my friend was still in post-op and had not been allocated a ward. However, the staff at Stones Corner Flower Shop were very understanding and went above and beyond to make sure that my friend received her flowers.

The owner of the shop, Lynnette, texted me to let me know that she had checked with the hospital and that my friend was now recovering in Ward 10. She also told me that she would deliver the flowers on her way home from work that evening.

I was so grateful for the extra effort that Lynnette and the staff at Stones Corner Flower Shop went to. My friend was so happy to receive the flowers and she was very impressed with how beautiful they were.
