I went to order a chicken tikka today and asked the girl waiter if it comes with gravy or not and she misguided me and said "yes it does come with gravy". I waited for the order to arrive and after the cooking was done the inexperienced, incompetent girl comes back and says "sorry sir the tikka does not have gravy" after the food has been cooked and claims that "I am new here". Are you serious? Is that a matter of my concern that you are new? I have asked for a swap and even that was denied by her supervisor. I have already wasted my money due to her misdirection and her mistake. If you have misguided the customer at least replace the dish with something we are asking for. The tikka itself was just terrible and very poorly made. This isn't the first time. The inexperienced staff, especially this new girl today does even know what the products are like. If you don't know what you are serving then stop hiring staff that have no idea what your products are like and making us wasting our money. In the past we ordered chicken biriyani twice and both the times the biriyani was terrible and was clearly made many days ago. Most of the time, these staff they hire have no clue what the food is like or what they are serving and are completely clueless when we ask them questions about the food. When I arrived, I asked the front staff if they had a traditional Nepali drink called âTongba,â even though it wasnât on the menu. Surprisingly, she said, âAlright, Iâll get one for you.â I found it odd that they served something not listed, and I strongly suspect it might have been homemade alcohol they were selling without any proper authorization.
For dinner, I ordered their Thali set, expecting a decent meal. However, what I received was just a bowl of plain rice, a small portion of meat, and a cheap mixed vegetable curryâdefinitely not worth the $27 they charged. I didnât mind the food itself as much, but the quantity and quality didnât justify the high price.
To make things worse, they charged me $25 for the Tongba. At no point did they mention the price beforehand, and after just one sip, I regretted ordering it. It wasnât even good, and I left it unfinished. When it came time to pay, they insisted I use PAYID instead of Apple Pay, which felt suspicious. They told me that since the drink wasnât on the menu, it couldnât be processed through the systemâhighly unprofessional and questionable.
