CLAREMONT SHOWGROUNDS Very dirty grounds, no cleaners around.. lots of food on the floor/pavement. Should have more bins too. Lots of show bags were Sold out on last day was disappointing. The parking is atrocious. I saw a 4WD smash past a tight car parked on the end.. Programmes to the ROYAL SHOW should be handed out immediately at front gate not at info centre in the middle. Lots of litter on grounds, don't people know there's a fine for litterbugging in Perth? Too bad the closer train stations, don't have car parks like Edgewater station. People were charging $20 a pop to park on there verges. I didn't see a horse merry go round. It would be good if there was an announcer to speak over, on the grounds to let us know what's coming up. The reason why we celebrate the Queens birthday that same week as P.H. is for the ROYAL SHOW goers to take their families and have a fun day out. The rides still $10.. which is good! No increased rides. Same as last year. The pavilions weren't that good. The animal farms were good. Lots of bubbles in the air... Had Stupid Show hats this year. The Mens shed was good. I didn't see a Cattery. Only dog pavilion. Lots of sanitizer stands, but they looked grotty and were black in colour. I liked the big bubble ride. There was lots of different food stalls. The chair lift - wasn't operational. Lots of kiddie rides this year. I didn't stay for fireworks at the end of the night in the dark it's a long long walk back to the parked car. Train is good idea. Very few people were wearing face masks. The weather is always good end of September it's a good time to hold this event. Should have been a lost child station.. In all a...

From the moment you step onto the grounds, you're embraced by the vibrant energy of the event. The aroma of delicious food fills the air, colorful lights dance from the carnival rides, and the excitement from thrilling games and attractions is contagious. Can you imagine how incredible it is?
There are three main highlights here: animals, food, and rides. You could easily spend the entire day soaking it all in.
One of the best parts is getting up close and personal with the cutest farm animals. there's sth incredibly grounding about connecting with these creatures and seeing the hard work that goes into caring for them.
And let's not forget the food! It's like attending a food festival—there are so many different kinds of dishes to try. From savory to sweet, there's no shortage of mouth-watering options.
Of course, the Royal Show wouldn't be complete without the thrilling rides and games (though they can be a bit pricey). This time, I only braved the ghost house and a few other rides, but whether you're conquering the roller coasters or trying your luck at winning a giant teddy bear, there's fun waiting around every corner.
To top it all off, the night ends with a breathtaking fireworks and drone show—a spectacular finale to an unforgettable day.
If you haven't been yet, add the Royal Show to your list! It's an experience you won't want to miss. See you at...

The Perth Royal Show is a 8 day event that shows off the states best agricultural entries and has a large range of other entertainment. It has a large number of volunteers that make it special. There is a train station but it not always in use, Clairmont train station is not far away. The only thing that dropped a star for me is the toilets. I attended this venue pregnant and it wasn't great, the toilets are very small. Disabled toilets are hard to find. Places to change babies nappies and fill water bottles are...
