The park shows great potential, but unfortunately, the execution leaves much to be desired.

One of the biggest shortcomings is the lack of adequate shade and seating. In the toddler area, the shade sails barely cover 20% of the space, leaving the ground uncomfortably hot and play equipment difficult to use during warmer days.

The water play area also feels underwhelming for a park of this size. It’s quite small and would really benefit from additional features like sprinklers to help kids cool off during the summer heat.

While this park might be enjoyable in the cooler months, the limited shaded areas and lack of seating make it hard to imagine it being a comfortable or practical space to use during the...

Whilst it looks amazing there is definitely not enough shade. Considering our weather more thought should have gone into shade over playgrounds, seating areas as it is inadequate for our climate here in Qld. It is not a sun safe park. I loved the bike paths and the enjoyment children were having riding around on their small bikes and scooters as long as the E Bikes and E scooters don't take over the bike paths. I feel winter would be a more suitable time to visit but definitely not in summer at least until the trees grow. Even today at 25 degrees you could not sit on seating that...

Kids playground is great. A lot of things could be improved, not enough shade, seating, car parks. Coffee shop was closed at 2pm on a Saturday, lots of missed business there.

Dog park needs more benches and ones that aren't in water. The absolute worst thing though is very poor drainage infrastructure, lots of the pathways were flooded, ground a muddy swamp. That is after a day of intermittent light to average rain. This really needs to be corrected asap as it clearly wasn't done properly at the building stage.

It has the potential to be a really lovely...

My dog and my kids loved it!!! Well done ! Robina needed something like that! I’d love to see just a few shaded seating areas in the park, where I can sit and relax while spending time with my dog. The sun can get quite strong, so a bit of shelter would make a big difference.

Fantastic start of the expansive Green Heart for the Gold Coast. It is fast becoming a very popular destination for families. That said, parking will be a problem, especially on weekends. We can't wait to see the needful phases on the Green Heart. So far, so good. Keep it up.
