Euphoria Espresso (Laverdrive) Robina — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

This one star goes straight to the short-haired, round-faced Asian female staff member. I’ve been to this café many times and usually the staff are friendly. I often stood by the coffee machine while waiting and never once has any other staff member been rude about it, until this Friday. She told me I was “blocking” people. Fine, I moved. Then she asked if I was in a hurry. I said yes. Her reply was, “You should have said that when ordering instead of standing here staring at me.” She then handed me my coffee with a blank expression, no smile, no thank you, nothing. Yet the customers before and after me both received her thank you and names called out. It was quite obvious she felt offended just because I stood there, which is honestly rather ridiculous. If being watched while making coffee offends you so much, you should be a princess instead of working in a café.

I even remember once arriving at closing time, when the kitchen staff still kindly prepared me fresh food, which I truly appreciated. That’s why this Friday’s experience was such a shock. And from reading the reviews, I can see I am not even the first customer to mention her. Hopefully the management will take these concerns seriously and consider giving her some proper customer service training. It’s disappointing that one staff member can overshadow the good work of the rest...

Unfortunately a little disappointed with our experience here as we'd heard great things (and were living just around the corner so hoping to find our new local!) The food wasn't bad, however we found multiple hairs in both hot meals (based on the different colours, from multiple staff 😬) which obviously put a dampener on the whole meal. Staff were only semi friendly. And the vibe was nothing special. Coffee was decent so might be better for takeaway. Apparently the donuts are to die for also.

Wonderful little find! We went to this Cafe out of convenience after staying overnight around the corner.

Firstly, coffee was delicious - fully emptied cup! (Which is huge as I'm a coffee snob). The meals were prepared quickly and too perfection 👌

Additionally, the staff were super kind and personable. You were made to feel like you were a regular from the moment you arrived.

This is an epitome example of why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. While not aesthetically "boutique", nor "instagrammable", this Cafe is incomparable in their Quality and service! 100% will be...
