Ordered for two people. Food was below average and overpriced. We ordered online and they automatically tipped themselves the same value as the order ($70) and so I was charged a total of $140. Took a week to refund the money. The managers name is Jasmine.
Jasmine said sheâd refund the tip the next day, then she didnât do it. The weekend passed and Monday still no refund. On Wednesday, Jasmine said she did refund it, and sent a screenshot of the money being sent to the WRONG bank account number - the refund had bounced back to her. Finally got her to transfer again and she sent a screenshot with my correct bank details, and I got the refund within a few hours of the transfer (a complete week later). The refund should not have taken as long as it did, and the tip should never have been taken automatically. Jasmine even blamed me, the customer, for the situation- yet all I asked for was the refund. There was no need to point and blame the customer like she did. Transferring money back to someone takes literally less than a minute to do.
Absolutely zero customer service skills, incredibly slow staff, watery, bland food, terrible restaurant overall and definitely the worst person I have ever seen manage anything.
Edit: Nice to see the owner has not taken any accountability for the way we were treated. Always a big red flag when a business responds defensively - a true testament to their terrible service. Definitely do not dine or order from...
Read moreQuite disappointed. Ordered a classic Thai noodle dish pad kee mao (drunken noodle). Waited 30 minutes. Turned out they didnât use Hofoen noodle, they changed it to pad Thai noodle without asking or telling. Itâs like making a pad Thai but using vermicelli noodle. Wonât recommend and go back.
To reply the restaurant: drunken noodle is known as pad kee mao in Thai dish. Youâre the only Thai restaurant I ever been to that says drunken noodle and pad kee mao are two different things. In addition, it does not matter how long youâve been cooking pad kee Mao with pad thai noodle, there always will be someoneâs first time to try your restaurant. In the end, if you want to lie, at least make sure I donât have proof. I have attached the photo to prove that I ordered at 17:15. You said 20 mins. When I got there itâs 17:45, the noodle was...

Wouldnât you think, with a name like Pop PadPed Thai, that theyâd know how to make Pad Ped!
Four years ago, if we ordered Pad Ped Prawns from the previous owners, we used to get a âheapâ of crisp veggies, moist prawns, and a delicious sauce. We hoped that it had improved since we tried it when the new owners first took over, but it definitely hasnât.
Now itâs virtually no veggies (in fact it was ONE small piece of carrot!!), dry prawns, no sauce, and an absolute âtruck-loadâ of dry and gluggy noodles. So gluggy, in fact, that you cannot possibly separate them on your fork or chopsticks.
We will NEVER go back - unless they hopefully sell and new owners (who know how to...
