Lake Eden is a gorgeous place to be with nature in the heart of a bustling North Lakes. There's a beautiful, relaxing walk track around the lake. There's Plenty of space for walkers/cyclists, grass for kids/outdoor games and there are playgrounds sporadically placed throughout. It says not to feed the wildlife but people seem to disregard that rule. If people are going to feed the wildlife of the lake anyway, I suggest the council add information on what types of seeds/vegetables/grains people can feed them instead of bread -- which is not good for them. I read that they are adding exercise equipment to the circuit. That will be a great addition for those who cannot afford a gym or simply prefer to work out outdoors.

I recently visited Lake Eden in North Lakes on my own, and it was an absolutely beautiful experience, especially at sunrise. The peacefulness of the early morning, with the sun gently rising over the lake, was truly mesmerizing. The colors reflecting off the water created a serene and calming atmosphere—perfect for some quiet reflection or just enjoying nature at its finest. The walking paths around the lake are well-maintained, making it easy to take a leisurely stroll. If you're looking for a peaceful spot to start your day, Lake Eden at sunrise is definitely worth it!

One of my favourite lakes in the area. It's dog friendly too. Lots of smells for dogs to sniff. Really popular spot. Concrete paths wrap around the lake which makes for an easy 20 minute walk. Look out for frilled neck lizzards, swans, turtles and other types of birds. We always see something. Ample parking around the lake. There's a few look outs, undercover areas with seats ideal for picnics, cafe and toilet block, a playground, and an open air gym. Currently undergoing construction but still assessible. Can't wait to see what it'll look like when it's done.

Lake Eden is a regular stop for my partner, our dog & myself to unwind, relax & get a nice, safe semi nature walk into our day. At around 2 thirds shaded, it allows you to get a little sun but offers relief on steamy hot Brisbane days. It features relaxing man made but eco friendly land & water features that hold a variety of birds (ducks, swans, pelicans etc) & reptiles (dragons, monitors, turtles & the occasional harmless tree snake). Good amenities & parking for dogs & walkers alike. It's been great for out 12 yro Boarder Collie to get out of the house & meet other dogs having a safe & relaxing walk. Sunsets over the lake are spectacular. Cherished...

The wild and the built describes Lake Eden perfectly. The paths and walkways are well set out and maintained. The plantings shelter and protect wildlife while discouraging people to go too close to the water. The other day we saw a magnificent water dragon sunning himself. Life on the lake is busy. Seeing tortoises pop their heads up unexpectedly is fun. There are spaces to stop and let the minutes float by. I met a Kiwi Weaver sitting in the sun, creating. She was inspirational. Lake Eden is close to busy North Lakes but a quiet ramble takes you out into to...
