Incredibly delicious fried chicken that nails a particular subtype of Korean fried chicken - smaller, more abundant pieces with homestyle taste - that no fried chicken place in the area fulfils. The serving sizes are incredibly generous, with excellent pricing, and the chicken is cooked perfectly, being sufficiently drained of oil whilst ridding itself of the stinky chicken flavour that curses certain other popular non-Korean fried chicken chains. The sauce is balanced well and rich in flavour, even going well with rice or beer should you choose to make it into a larger meal.
I also must give a special mention to the hand-cut chips, which again have a homestyle taste and, though they aren't too crispy, they are thick and perfectly salted, and make for an incredibly delicious snack on their own. The kind and attentive owner - who even triple-checked my order when handing it to me, reminding me of my missing drink - also packs the box completely full to the brim, shocking us with the amount of chips that could be crammed into the smaller box and easily feeding three adults as a side to the chicken.

Read moreTried the Machoking Spicy and Sour. Cooked to perfection with a light a crunchy batter, lightly tossed through their spicy and sour sauce. You get that perfect crunch followed by a flavour bomb and perfectly rounded heat that mellows with a savoury sour finish. As a food enthusiast, this was one of those spiritual moments for me. Very reasonable prices are the icing on the cake. 10/10 Cannot wait to try the entire menu. I will be returning on a regular basis for sure! If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favour!
Back for the second time (12/07/19) trying the (SGHB) Soy, Garlic, Honey, Butter fried chicken . Once again cooked to perfection with a perfectly balanced dressing. Another 10/10 from me. These guys could be the greatest of all time when it comes to fried chicken. Again, DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR and order from these guys ASAP!...
Read moreFirst time to try and unfortunately it wasn't the Korean Fried Chicken I was expecting. It doesn't have the crunch and tenderness of the boneless chicken that I usually get. I think the restaurant is using chicken breast instead of thigh, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's just not as juicy. The sauce is too little and this is the first time having Korean fried chicken where the sauce was drizzled on top instead of coating the chicken. Pickled radish was a bit bland and lacks the sweet and sour goodness. Taste of the chicken and sauces is alright. I love seeing a (I think) husband-wife tandem operating a small business together. Shop ambience could be improved to give a better...
