If I could give this place a zero stars I would. I’m a pretty easy going person that appreciates good service and good food and little things don’t get to me how ever I was so angry and disgusted by the time I left this place. I went up to the counter to place my order I ordered the cinnamon waffles with seasonal berries, I ask the lady that served me if they had bananas to add to my breakfast, she replied no we only have banana bread (which is fine cause I was only asking in the off chance they had some). I went and sat at my table and while I was waiting for my breakfast I noticed somethings…. It’s not clean, food stuff up the walls the salt and pepper holder looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time one of the salt and pepper holders on another table across from me was broken the edges looked sharp. Seeing all of this before my food had turned up was making me question this place. Then my food came, this was disappointing it looked fine but the menu said it came with seasonal berries, I said to the man that dropped off my food “it’s meant to have seasonal berries with it” he pointed to the little container and said “ yes that’s the berries” I was not impressed. I said “The menu says seasonal berries, that’s not seasonal berries” he went and got the lady from the front counter. She came to the table with a sour face like I was inconveniencing her I said the same thing “the menu says seasonal berries, this isn’t seasonal berries” she was so rude and her demeanour was aggressive toward me “we don’t have fresh fruit here”.. and then she walked off. I didn’t touch the food I was so disgusted and very put off at how aggressive and rude she was it made me feel uneasy. I went to the front counter and asked for my money back. She refused to give me my money back she said “the food is fine, so I don’t have to refund you” I once again pointed out that “the menu says seasonal berries not frozen berry compote.” Her reply “you can have the $3 back for the berries, but I’m not refunding you any more…” after the way she spoke to me and the service I received there was no way I was going to sit there and eat that food. She went to the manager and he was just as bad, I said the same thing to him. He said “that is what head office wanted and if I have an issue with the menu take it up with them”. Do not go here. The atmosphere is so relaxing. Warm and no matter what kind of weather it is outside, it just feels that nice, cozy and relaxed sensation when you sit on the comfortable chairs when you're seated down
Where to begin with the food??
Whichever chef they have that is making this food. I really hope they pay them extra with every smile a customer has upon consuming. They're amazing artwork
I have never experienced this happiness as much as my first tried the first piece of the buttermilk pancakes for breakfast this morning upon writing this
The last time I had the experience was Christmas a couple years ago from my mothers cooking , and that is what brought my attention to want to write a review for this place
You can definitely taste the effort and love they put towards the meals for their customers
I had a post egg bacon strips and a beautiful Turkish bread like rolls with my breakfast
And there were no complaints whatsoever about the taste, the cooking and just the satisfaction of having that crunch with your porch eggs And bacon and toast
And my god, the customer service is also very nice and friendly, ready to give me anything they feel the need to make my experience here utmost importance and that is what customer service is should be like in this day and age of 2024
If you feel like you want to get a drink as well as a friendly buy here with lots of varieties of bottles and wine and whiskey so you can definitely tell the beach house is very suitable for every single type of consumer !
This is honestly at 10 out of 10 for me !

Read moreYesterday, 04/04/2024 had dinner at the Beach House North Lakes, and after ordering a jug of Lemon Lime and Bitters, I realized it had a dead fly in it. I saw it after I poured 2 glasses for which I went to the kitchen counter to show and ask for a replacement from the manager. The manager (I could not get her name) asked me what did I want her to do asking "do you want me to scoop it our" (sarcastically), for which I said No!, can you kindly give me another one? She said frustrated that she has no control over the flies that fall into the jugs and that she'll do it for only once...At the time, trying to understand the issue with replacing a potentially $1 dollar soft drink jug, that the fly was not swimming but dead, and that they don't die instantly, but after a long time in liquid, leaving her speechless....she aggressively told me to go and sit back that she'll bring another jug for me, warning me that it will only be the first and last time, hoping that it does not happen again, like if I had put that fly there...which I found really offensive.
She brought the next jug again, sarcastically telling us "let's hope we don't get any more flies in it"!....
As a note, I cam potentially buy the North Lakes Beach House if I wanted to, considering that the way the manager treated me and my wife was despicable. I believe that the success of your branch and being myself a business owner of multiple businesses, should be priority, and that they should get trained properly to deal with clients who have genuine concerns, and even with those who don't, as the clients should always be looked after.
