I managed to cope with the queues on how busy it was, which is fine as it is popular and worth the wait? To a certain degree, when your queue is up to 50 people deep, and you have four staff, just looking at the refill bar when it doesn’t need refilling and one cash register open. That is absolutely absurd. By the time you put your yoghurt into your bowl and wait for the person to serve one at a time each customer by the time you get to the cash register, your yoghurt is melted and liquefied.

The manager once asked for my feedback and I gave it to him saying you need to have two cash registers open you have the staff for it for the flow of customers you have. We come a few times a week only to always experience the same scenario.

In Victoria Park they always have two cash registers going and the same in Leederville.

I’ve come here tonight being a Saturday evening busy only now to find that you’ve removed the most popular mango yoghurt, two of your machines with your signature tart Along with salted caramel are are working, And with a queue with over 60 people deep 4 staff members, were just standing behind the counter and the manager, making his own Yo-Chi and people were waiting to be served with the scales not in perfect operation so service was taking longer than even the normal slow service This is absolutely ridiculous .

I feel you are now taking advantage of your customers, as you are busy, but not delivering the full Yo-chi custom service...

Yo-Chi Karrinyup brings a refreshing and delightful frozen yogurt experience to Perth, riding the wave of this popular trend. Here’s why it stands out:

Lively Ambiance: The place has a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, making it a joy to visit. The lively energy and thoughtful decor enhance the overall experience, making it a perfect spot to hang out and enjoy a treat.

Irresistible Flavors: Yo-Chi offers a selection of classic frozen yogurt flavors that never fail to impress. My personal favorite is the butterscotch yogurt, which is rich, creamy, and utterly satisfying. Whether you’re a fan of fruity or indulgent flavors, there’s something for everyone.

Topping Extravaganza: The topping options at Yo-Chi are simply amazing. From the creamy pistachio dip to the decadent chocolate mud, you can create a dessert masterpiece that’s both delicious and visually appealing.

Final Thoughts: Yo-Chi Karrinyup is a fantastic addition to Perth’s dessert scene. With its lively ambiance, delightful yogurt flavors, and an incredible array of toppings, it’s a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Whether you’re a frozen yogurt enthusiast or just looking to try something new, Yo-Chi will...

the yoghurts fine not horrible, but nothing special. there are some good topping but that’s really all. they treat you like you’re in kindergarten again because they make you line up and wait your turn, which just made this take so much longer, seriously, it’s damn yoghurt! that wasn’t even the worst part, the PRICES. it’s yoghurt and some lollies, shouldn’t cost much right? well it did. i think it’s really messed up that you can pay so much for some fun yoghurt. i payed $11which is already ridiculous, then i found out my friend payed $30 and she barely even got much! just a bit of yoghurt, bit of chocolate and cookie crumbs. i wish this could be an enjoyable experience, but it really wasn’t. change your prices and maybe i’ll consider coming back.

edit: i wrote that while i was eating the sour straps and chocolate chips and the yoghurt, right after i started eating the cookie dough which was vegan. DO NOT RECOMMEND. made me feel like i was gonna throw up, tasted completely artificial, didn’t taste like cookie dough at all, i was on the verge of throwing up. DO...

Came here on a Saturday night a few weeks ago at 6.30pm and there was a huge very slow moving line which seemed odd for just yoghurt. Waited over 30mins until inside, and then had to wait ages in a line to just pay for it. What was so ridiculous was the fact that the line was out the door past the playground by 7.30p and the whole time there was only one person behind the till!!? When they had two useable tills there. Meanwhile I watched one staff member just slowly filling up the toppings section when everything was filled up enough (not even close to empty). How are staff this poorly trained/poorly managed to think it’s reasonable to prioritise unnecessary re-filling whilst 12 people are waiting to pay with a product that literally melts… but not just that, but management to not roster on another staff member to stand behind a till? so disappointing for a product that is good but couldn’t be properly enjoyed because of ignorant service/management. They should consider self-service kiosks that we can weigh and pay ourselves to keep line moving.

As much as I am an enthusiast for frozen yogurt, I made the fatal mistake of going here on the last friday of school holidays. There was quite a long line, almost all of which were children and teens. When we finally were able to choose our yogurt flavour, the lovely worker allowed us to taste test a couple of flavours before we purchased them, giving us some advice on each flavour. She was very sweet and was amazing at controlling the swarm of teenage girls that filled every inch of the store. The only issue with yo-chi is the pricing. I am not new to experiencing buying by the weight, but it is quite pricey here. For 500g+ we spent $12+ dollars. Overall though, it is a very clean store with great decor, a very aesthetic place for your instagram.

I came to see what the hype was about and I must say I can understand why this concept works! Yo Chi is currently a popular trending frozen yoghurt chain offering- where other brands have gone before but been met with much less success. Here, many new and exciting flavours are available with you deciding how much you want in your bowl. So many choices of toppings for all taste buds so u can customise the dessert to your personal liking. Weigh and pay at the end after you have decided. A big plus is the warm, friendly inviting interiors and decor which makes people want to linger and meet up at. Great concept and cleverly executed. We now just need one closer to us SOR. ☺️
