We would refer friends and family for food but probably not for an event. The staff member hosting us at the venue for the evening Zaph was 10/10 fantastic and is the perfect personality, temperament and work ethic to work in hospitality. However i strongly feel that the physical venue setup was not suitable for the 80 guests we booked with your functions coordinator and the space was too cramped causing guests to overflow near the bar which was also the entrypoint to our function space. Aside from Zaph i had multiple reports of rude staff members getting annoyed or short with my guests. I witnessed this first hand where one of your waitresses was so rude to my aunty arriving. Other members of staff rolling their eyes when people were blocking the way of them serving food or drink. I think you probably need to reconsider the layout and flow for functions booked in the upstairs area and better educate your staff so that they are all...

I had the absolute best time at Ciao Dandy’s Spritz’d bottomless lunch! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was effortlessly chic and welcoming—sunlight pouring in, lush greenery, and that lovely buzz of people enjoying good food and great company.

The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel like we were their top priority. Every spritz was fresh and beautifully balanced (the pink gin and limoncello were my faves), and they just kept coming without ever feeling rushed or over the top.

The food? Wow. Generous share plates kicked things off—perfectly creamy burrata, flavour-packed bruschetta, and the freshest salads. Arrived at 12:00pm to find an almost empty restaurant, but my party of 3 was seated outside in the cold due to all the tables being reserved. Wait person tried to light a heater with no success, tried the second with same result. Food was excellent, highly recommend the anchovies as a side. Left the venue at 13:00, tables were still unoccupied, when questioned about this, waitstaff made a lame excuse about holding the tables for early arrivals.
