Tom's swing review number 5 - excellent play park, great slide and swing set with a climbing wall as well. Plenty of fun for all ages, The swing is fantastic but this time the basketball half court took his fancy. The photo was taken just as he was about to lay down his first dunk. There's a footie oval next door which the kids can run around on and the merri creek is nearby. Truly a great spot to go with friends or family for the day.

The reserve consists of two ovals. One is currently being using as a cricket pitch, the other for Australian Rules football. I have no idea who plays there. I have been jogging around there this week and have witnessed young teenagers practicing and older ones playing a game. On both occasions I was there, there were a number of people exercising, many of them with children and or dogs.

The location is spectacular. Coburg's beloved natural landmark Merri creek runs along the western edge of the reserve. Many water...

The sports fields are in good condition although prone to water logging as this area is on s flood plain. Excellent playground equipment for kids including some welcome activities with risk such as a climbing wall. Outdoor free electric BBQ and covered seating. Lastly this precinct is popular for dog walkers and dogs off lead areas are nearby along the creek as well as sports fields whilst there is no organised...
