Seanora — Local services in Melbourne

First time trying Seanora as I wanted a quick takeaway fix. Ordered pickup on Sunday lunch — chicken souvlaki and steamed dim sim with soy sauce. Normally I’m skeptical when ordering souvs from fish and chip shops, but this one was delicious. Although there were only 2 chicken tenders and didn’t look like a lot, it was very filling and delicious. Chicken wasn’t dry and the whole thing was wrapped so well that the sauce didn’t drip everywhere. If you’re taking the dimmos home, maybe DIY and don’t ask for the sauce as it was a bit too much for me 😅

So, after 10 years of living in the north I was starting to think the perfect fish and chippery was a myth, a unicorn. Dark times had fallen and I was about to give up on my quest to find the ONE... until tonight when I discovered Seanora.

Lebanese owned. Fresh oil. Bloody good steak sanger. Batter on point. Seafood fresh. Potato cakes bangin'. Friendly service.

Can't fault it. I'd give it 10 stars if I could and will be going there and nowhere else from this point on and...

Guys, great to see you going back to making your own potato cakes, the frozen ones were the reason I went else where not supporting my local. Today I returned after many years. Shop looks great, clean and up to date, constructive criticism, your batter recipe needs work, could also be the temp/quality and age of the oil.
