Must be the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I know service dropped down since the lockdowns but this was just ridiculous. We arrived at 6 PM and no one welcomed us until we just went to the counter and told them we have a reservation. Once we sat down around 6:10 we waited 20 min and called the server since he wasn’t coming to us.
We ordered our food and asked him to bring the food out as it is ready since we are hungry. There were only two other tables at that moment. Firstly it’s not really nice when the person who takes the leans on the table to write down the order while smelling like sweat.
After an addition hour our food finally arrived we we received our mains and a bit later on our starters. At that point the starters could’ve been just left on the kitchen. Also the server brought each plate one by one which is fine if he isn’t comfortable carrying more but than at least know what dish you are serving mate. Can’t be that hard to remember the dish name of one plate while doing 20 steps to our table.
Food was average not really good but not bad and the prices are decent. The tomato bruschetta is pizza dough with tomato’s on top and not sliced bread. Would’ve been nice to know and receive before our mains.
Won’t come back and hope that the management changes in this place. You can tell no one worked in hospitality before. The server looked like he is on his way to the skate park and not at work.
I usually not leave any reviews but this place is just a time and money waster for anyone. Can’t understand how they have...
Read moreI recently dined at Pizza Warehouse in Preston and had a very disappointing experience despite the great food. We were overcharged on our bill, and it turned out we weren't the only ones. When we brought it up, the owner's standoffish response was that prices have gone up but new menus haven't been printed yet.
This is unacceptable. You can't hand customers a menu showing a drink priced at $9 and then charge $11 at the counter with the excuse that prices have increased but new menus are yet to be printed. Businesses have a responsibility to provide accurate pricing to their customers. That's what menus are for; an agreement between customer and a business to provide a product at the advertised price. If prices change, print new menus or at the very least inform customers before they order.
The owner's dismissive response, "Oh, it's only a few dollars, most people wouldn't care," missed the point entirely. It's not about the extra dollars; it's about honesty and transparency. Customers deserve to know the accurate prices upfront, not to be surprised at the counter.
Such sneaky business tactics are dishonest and unacceptable. While I understand that prices may need to increase, being upfront and respectful to your customers is essential.
Unfortunately, due to this lack of transparency and the owner's attitude, I won't be returning to Pizza Warehouse and would encourage others to give...
Read moreI will start with the positive. The pizza. The Funghi pizza was flavoursome and the dough was good. Unfortunately thats where the good ends.
Pasta was bland and nut was stale. I ordered the gorgonzola creamy pasta, what I did not expect was basically cooked pasta stirred in cream. It had very little blue cheese flavor and i think the chef forgot to add salt, to make matter worse, the walnut was stale.
The kids bolognese was not much better. Again bland, and lacking meat.
Even the chips was undercooked and over salted.
Normally I would have let it slide and wont leave a review. But not only was the food subpar, they also ripped me off.
All the menu prices were out of date. After i paid, asked for the bill and noticed. I confronted whom might have been the owner, his excuse was that everything has gone up they “forgot” to update the menu. No offer to refund the difference, not apologetic at all.
Everyone who visited that day got ripped off. Dodgy...
