I turned up for a midnight fix after reading rave reviews, with all expectations exceeded! I was met by Thanasi who was proudly serving, with explanations and suggestions as it was my first time. I went for a lamb souvlaki combo, with chips and drink.

No joke, the souvlaki was 1kg minimum LOL and the exceptional battered chips were overflowing! The in-dining was clean, welcoming and well equipped with cutlery and napkins.

Now to the important bit: the LAMB! Wow, I reckon I have NEVER had better Charcoal Spit lamb than this (Sydney or Melbourne); perfect balance of fat-to-flesh lamb with zero gristle, leaving a delicious, moist, mouth explosion of Greek Goodness! I am not Greek but I felt like Zeus tonight LOLx2. Wow their marinade is incredible; not weak nor is it zesty-strong, but just right, leaving a meat feast to savour, on a oh-so-fluffy warm Pita!

Nothing more to say - I only get this descriptive on reviews when well satisfied LOLx3! I have a large family and I am getting the meat packs (will try chicken AND lamb next time) or Souvlakis to go, when "starved" of cooking options! But hey, dine in straight from the spit is always the preferred option, so will be back at a family-friendly time!

Check out this place if around Preston. Hell even worth the drive, if somewhere on the Australian East...

My wife and I sat inside this place for the first time today and had a souvlaki each. I had ordered one mix gyro combo with the lot for myself and for my wife a chicken giro. I specifically said no tomatoes and no garlic sauce for the chicken souvlaki. The young guy serving me at the time asked me if the mixed gyros was with the lot and I said yes with every thing in it where as for the chicken gyros my wife always has it with no tomatoes and no tzatziki sauce. After paying we sat at one of the tables and waited for our order. Once our order had been served to us I notice that my wife's chicken gyro was perfect with no tomatoes or tzatziki sauce, I had the mixed gyro with only onions in it even though I asked to have the lot in it. I sensed that some making the gyros was confessed. I mentioned this a few minutes later to the girl who had made the souvlaki and said to her that I will eat it anyway but next time don't make these mistakes. She said that they can make me a fresh one but I had half eaten it so I wasn't going to be greedy and say yes. One of the older guys heard the conversation and didn't bother to ask or even acknowledge it so I left it at that.

All I say now is that this time the...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're in Preston and haven't yet discovered the Souvlaki and Kebab House, what are you even doing with your life? Every Friday after my daughter finishes Greek school, our family has made it a delightful tradition to indulge in the mouthwatering offerings from this incredible eatery. Consistency is key in any great restaurant, and Souvlaki and Kebab House delivers every single week. The flavors are spot-on, and the quality never wavers—every bite feels like a warm hug from a Greek grandma. From savory souvlaki to juicy kebabs, they never disappoint. But what truly makes this place special isn't just the food; it's the owner, who is an absolute gem! He takes the time to engage with every customer, making you feel like family rather than just another customer. He remembers our orders and always has a warm smile to share. It's refreshing to see someone who genuinely cares about the experience of their customers, and you can feel that love infused in every dish. So, if you're looking for a spot where you can enjoy delicious Greek cuisine with a side of kindness, look no further. Souvlaki and Kebab House—where every Friday feels like a...

I wasn’t looking for much—just a quick bite in an unfamiliar neighbourhood. But Google whispered sweet nothings about this spot, and I listened. Thank god I did. Walked in with low expectations. Walked out with my cravings permanently ruined for the average. This place doesn’t just serve gyros—it understands them. The kind of pita that hugs the meat like they’ve known each other since birth. Meat that’s kissed by flame, not drowned in grease. A perfect balance of fat and char. Crunch, softness, spice, and that creamy hit of sauce to bring it home. It’s huge—$18 buys you a meal and a memory. Locals lining up. Staff who actually smile at you like they mean it. And no fluff, no Instagram theatre—just food that slaps. I’ll be back. In a heartbeat. Probably hungry again. Probably grateful again.

Daniyeru's Detailed Review: Customer Service 5/5 *Acknowledged right away, service was friendly enough and thanked politely on the way out Food 4.5/5 *Meat Plate (Chicken): Cooked on Charcoal as described and it was full of flavour, nicely cooked and simply delicious if you're after that charcoal chicken taste! Value 3/5 *Was about $18 from memory for a small foil container of chicken. It felt like a snack size rsther than a small size. Definitely not worth the money, unless it was around the $10 to $12 price point. Atmosphere 4/5 *Usual charcoal chicken fit out, no frills style. Overall *Would definitely come back if I'm in the area, but probdbly won't come out of the way. If I had a spare buck or two as well

Daaaaamn. Crispy pressed perfection! Toasted pressed thin Greek wrap, sealed as it crisped together (couldn’t unwrap it so perfectly unmessy), with soft fresh but structurally sound falafel. Tasty LTO salad with red onion. I added jalapeños ($1 I think) for a little extra pop. Vegans—it has tzatziki by default unless you ask, so I swapped to hommus and chilli sauce. Flavour freakin’ explosion. Ugggggh - Fairly Friendly Falafel Fiend (Facebook) Price: $14 (inc extras of $1-$2) Config: Falafel wrap, LTO, minus tzatziki, add hommus and chilli sauce, add jalapeños
