Bonbeach Beach — Attraction in Melbourne

This place perfect... It's the best suburb along the Bayside region. Located in a quiet area with no car thoroughfare and surrounded by the Edithvale wetlands, Patterson River and the bay... HEAPS of development/infrastructure happening and improvements to public transport facilities underway. It also sits in a perfect position where you have the choice of the Nepean hwy, Thompson road, peninsula/Frankston freeways and Eastlink... ALL with a beautiful feeling that you are living in a quiet beach community... Everyone is open to say hello and they All love to walk or ride their bikes... Again, the luckiest...

Good beach that varies from almost no sand to more than enough depending on the tide. The whole stretch of beach from Carrum to Aspendale allows dogs, with off leash allowed between March and November. Unfortunately there is a lot of dog waste along the beach so you need to watch where you stand. In summer it can get very busy due to the nearby train line. There are some water fountains spread along the length of the beach at a few entries, with a public toilet slightly north from the train station entry...

Nice place. I visited on Sunday still no crowd was there. From CBD , Melbourne central/ fliderstation direct trains are avalable.We can get down at Chelsea beach station or bonbeach and walk for 10 mins to reach the beach .Here also we can see bath houses as it is famous only in brighten beach. And we can see a lot of seagulls. No much shops are available better to take your own snacks or whatever. U can take ur surf...
