Wasn't that long ago that really good coffee was hard to find in the burbs of the south east, especially outside the main shopping precincts. The Tuck Shop (and a few others) flipped that rule. Their coffee is as good as anything you get in the city. They are the antidote to the brown coloured dishwater we used to suffer just to get a caffeine hit. Best of all the service. They are always good but when they delivered my coffee because I was isolating at home, and did it within 10 minutes of me ordering. That's something else, that is going beyond. I've seen a lot of really great coffee joints in my time. I will admit to being fickle over what a good coffee actually is. But by handing me a steaming hot long black, with a smile, at a time when I can't go past my driveway, that is next level. These people care about their customers but they also go the extra mile which makes all the difference....

Bonbeach Tuckshop (Crn Patterson St/Breeze St) opened a week ago and will be your new place for a great melt or sub! They offer more than a tasty sanga, including some yummy sweets, milkshakes, and ice cream too! They're mostly takeaway, but tables outside will come soon.

After not visiting here for more than a year, as we were travelling, we were looking forward to lovely hot cuppas on a cold rainy day.........we were SO disappointed with what was presented, just above tepid and we had already left in the car, will never go back , well over $10 for both and then later on we realised we hadn't been given the right change, so the til would be out at the end of the day.
