The esteemed Brighton Baths located at 251 Esplanade, Brighton is many things - Historic, iconic and even - evocative to name a few. Opened in 1936, it's a deco brick marvel of architecture. Providing the unique possibility to safely swim 50 metre laps or splash around - the water is caged to keep out any debris or unwanted sea creatures. It's a beautiful place. The private beach provides solace and for those more active, an indoor and outdoor gym, steamroom and fitness classes are all available. I am a part time member at Brighton Baths Health Club whenever I visit Melbourne. I’ve made great friends and adore the outdoor classes on the deck with the water lapping below and the sun on your body. Swims, paddle boarding, steam room and ice baths have been fun too, and always a coffee and snack afterwards in the cafe. Brilliant!

My home away from home… can start, end or spend the entire day here. The BBHC has everything I need to feel amazing - Open water swimming, steam room, ice bath, a workout or simply chatting away with the wonderful community here - always leave with my cup filled full!

Brighton Baths Health Club is a gem I’ve been lucky to be part of for a few years. The beachside workouts are unmatched, and the sense of community is amazing. The staff and owner go above and beyond to create such a welcoming and supportive space.

Very nice coffee and a cool gym. The day pass is just expensive at 38$ but you can get a swim pass for 5$ which is pretty cool. Really refreshing to go for a swim there and nice people! :) great view too
