Royale — Restaurant in Melbourne

Royal has had a facelift and it seriously is a good one. It’s not as it wasn’t good enough before but it was your boutique burger joint that you grab a bite and sit on the curbside no eating but the burgers were different. They were quality. that was serious and a quirky menu And the fact that it has something to do with the pantry which is a lovely boutique lunch spot obviously shows.

But now having undergone a renovation it’s a classic old diner experience and it’s a step up to the menu included greats like even spaghetti Bolognese for instance so there’s a variety of goodies and the big shakes are pretty much to die for. They’re the best and that’s something I don’t take or say lightly not too many a Premium but these are a seriously thick consistency in the flavour isn’t that Cottees syrup topping rubbish That’s so many second rate joints use. After a few years collecting orders from royale brothers as uber eats, I've not experience any delay of getting consumers food if its already ready to collect as we are able to see the desk inside the standing counter whether the food are done or not. All the staff are so smart as they see you walking towards them with a phone in hand and immediately they'll know is uber eats, no matter who or even the staff making the ice cream or shakes and even they're attending to existing customer they'll still show you a sign of body language that they'll come after attending on the existing customer. But, until recently, there's a girl staff, keep dragging the time even the food are done and ready to collect, seldom see her until recently, not sure whether she's new?. Even though the burgers were almost decent , the customer service I've received was absolutely shocking and disgusting. As I was in the cue about to take my order , and when it finally came up for my turn to order the lady (cashier) was not friendly at all. It seems like she was forced to serve me and gave a very negative vibe. Throughout the whole transaction she didn't smile nor look me in the eye , and afterwards I saw the way she treated the guy after me ( who is white ) and she changed completely. She was smiling left right and centre and was very friendly to him. It's very sad the fact that it's 2016 but yet racism still exists even in a place like this.
