I am absolutely thrilled to leave a 5-star review for Royal Brighton Yacht Club. As SIFA Events, we recently had the privilege of hosting an event for our clients at this splendid venue, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
From the moment we arrived, the Royal Brighton Yacht Club team welcomed us with warmth and professionalism. The venue itself is extraordinary, offering breathtaking views and an elegant atmosphere that perfectly complemented the occasion.
We provided DJ RELLIK as the entertainment for the evening, and the seamless coordination with the Royal Brighton Yacht Club team was a testament to their commitment to excellence. They ensured that every aspect of the event was executed flawlessly, allowing us to focus on providing the best entertainment experience for our shared clients and their guests.

Read moreI am not one to complain as I have worked in hospitality and know how hard it can be. A few of us had the mushroom gnocci and unfortunately it had no flavour. It tasted like packet gnocci, and the mushrooms 'sauce' had no flavour. There was a complete lack of heart to the food, especially for the price. My aunty asked them kindly if they could swap my food and they kindly swapped it to the fish and chips. But this still had the same issue, it was completely devoid of flavour and joy..the chips were limp and sad and it just didn't feel worth eating. Our water wasn't offered to be topped up the entire time and dishes sat on the table for hours on end. We had a big group of people. My aunties fish was smelly and off- she could have gotten really sick. Luckily they said she could choose another meal- but still this was rough. They were kind to help us bring the cake out which the staff member was sweet to do this, but they cut the cake so there weren't enough pieces for everyone- oops. Also when we ordered coffee at the end (only 2 of us) we waited for 30mins even though there were no other customers around. The coffee was nice in the end.
Whilst some of the staff really made an effort to be kind, it was a bizarre experience and I'm not sure what's going on with the quality of food and service. I thought it would be much better from the location...
Read moreI am not one to complain, especially as my greatest joy on any Sunday morning is to read the newspaper and enjoy a light breakfast and/or a cup of coffee chatting to a friend or two at RBYC. Mostly staff are really friendly and professional. But my ‘five strikes and your out’ policy on Audrey who is not quietly rude, but outwardly off putting on a very regular basis, leads me finally to voice my hurt feelings here. This person has taken an instant dislike towards me for almost a year. ENOUGH! Just like anyone who pays for a service, they have a right to politeness and respect. If you are frequently treated badly by a self-entitled worker, even after signalling unacceptable conduct to her manager, more serious follow-up is warranted. I am small business owner of A+ A Tutorials for more than twenty years, and would quickly address any such display of self-serving arrogant behaviour in staff. I am also a rate paying local of close to twenty years. As past member of RBYC welcomed to join at a time when delivering speeches over three course dining in a five star facility were preconditions of membership, I mourn this loss. Certainly one of the preconditions to generously serving the community of Brighton should still be a preparedness towards ongoing...
