Bundoora Homestead Art Centre is a wonderful destination that combines art and history. Although the house is not very large, every detail showcases the craftsmanship and aesthetics of the late 19th century. Features such as the wooden staircase, stained glass ceilings, ornate plaster ceiling decorations, and intricately carved railings make this building a cultural heritage site worth appreciating in detail. Additionally, the numerous paintings and artworks leave a lasting impression. However, it is somewhat regrettable that the maintenance and restoration of this building are not well managed. And where Dr John Cade made the first ever discovery in the world of an effective medication for treatment of a psychiatric illness (bipolar disorder). And a lovely cafe for lunch, tea or coffee in a charming...

Instead there were things called art. Sneakers with a growth or weird abstract nonsense. So called artists or hippies were hanging around trying to be cool. As to the cafe, the service was terrible and a simple coffee took way too long. What gave them 2 stars instead of 1 was that the scone jam and cream was excellent. As to the rest dont waste your time unless your desperate for...
