Bundoora Park All Abilities Playspace — Attraction in Melbourne

I had the fortune of attending a carshow, SMALL FORD SUNDAY on the 2nd of February 2025 at Bundoora Park. It's a huge park with amenities including toilets, playgrounds with equipment and electricity. There were no BBQs where we were, but I am sure there are some in the picnic areas. The open space is enormous with very easy access from Plenty Road. There are plenty of trees providing shade, but it is very dry and dust, unfortunately. The men's toilets were clean but the basin tap was broken. I did not assess the ladies toilet. The ground was even and safety was possibly on the mind of council who care for the park as the grass is extremely short. I didn't see any snakes and I felt the ground was sufficiently managed. It could use with a good watering every once and a while. Years ago I had an encounter with a brown stake on the golf course at this location, but there was no need for me to rummage through longer grass and bushes on this occasion.

This park is open to the public, so anyone can hire the area as long as it's accompanied by the necessary paperwork. It's located in the Darebin municipality.

A large fenced in playground that has 7 swings normal and toddler, 6 slides one is a spiral slide, Small slide that has a water tank on top of it and fire man pole and ladder to climb up and two sets of two slides that are side by slide on a hill. Red tractor that has seats on the back to sit on and a steering wheel. 3 sit or stand on spinners, a big spinning merry go round. A big sand pit that has a digger in it. Farm animal themed rockers/springers cow, sheep, kangaroo, chicken and three different coloured bug ones. A hammock, a small wobbly bridge and a spider web rope climbing structure. A maze that has coloured butterflys, mirrors and tunnels in it. Drinking taps, toilets, plenty of undercover areas with tables that have beach seats and others seats around and...

What a fantastic place. To look our 18 month old grandson and five year old grand daughter and there was equipment perfect for both and within close proximity. Plenty of shade. A cafe with friendly staff and toilets for everyone including disabled which also had a change table. Five minutes drive from our home in Rosanna. Easily spent 3 hours there and the children were...
