Today my daughter and myself we went coles for shopping for our next family week, and this is our first time shopping since Coles opens and we are so excited to see what’s new and so happy in our community we had Coles next to our house. After we finished our shopping, I took the Receipt from Oakleigh as normally we normally went there before this coles opens, we were charged for sth we did not get for $4.50 cents as normally I do my daily check and make sure everything matches up. So I explained to him, and he replied to us: you need go back to Oakleigh store to refund, I asked why it is all Coles, what he replied to me make me so upset and angry: “our camera did not catch what you got? This is what you saying so”!! This is my life first time someone talked to me like this and also in front my daughter! I am very shocked! How you can say like this? Do I really need to cheat for $4.5 cents!!! this is the point made me very very upset!! This should like happening in Chadstone community! This is NOT appropriate at all!! And I trying to ask his colleagues what is his name? I felt they are all trying to cover him up and saying sorry I am not sure! So I have to image his picture by myself! His name is Karan - Duty Manager! I wonder WHAT A GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE HE WILL BRING TO OUR...

This Coles has a few great bits and one glaringly obvious bad bit. The great bits include the scoop and weigh section - what a fantastic set up they have here. The stock staff/fillers are always very polite and great to have a quick chat with too, thanks for your help! Now for the bad bit… There’s a lady in the front end who I believe is a manager, I’m not sure if she’s been told to do the following by head office or she’s just got a massive issue with the public but she went through all 9 bags of our groceries and compared the receipt numerous times, she was constantly glaring over my shoulder and it made me feel rather uncomfortable. To her surprise all items were accounted for - the total was just a little above $400 - what a bunch of gougers. For a company that netted $1.1B last year it’s a genuine disgrace that you have managers acting like every person who is using a self serve is a crim. I don’t condone theft at all but there are other measures in place to prevent stealing (cameras above checkouts, etc) that aren’t someone looking over your shoulder during the duration of your checkout. Sort...

Your click and collect service is appalling.

I need to utilise click and collect due to injury. THERE HAS BEEN A MISTAKE OR OMISSION EVERY SINGLE TIME I'VE ORDERED. There has not been one order I have not had to complain about. Fresh items that are about to expire, items missing, and today, MORE THAN HALF of my order not given to me. Silly me, I drove off just assuming all my groceries had been put in the boot, only to get home to find more than 10 items missing, which would have been about 3 or 4 bags worth. They were not items marked as unavailable, they were supposed to be in the order. I'm absolutely furious at the ineptitude at this point.

Whilst on hold with your customer care line, I'm hearing all about how quick and convenient click and collect is. Yeah right. What a joke.

I now have to shop again for all the missing items.

I'll be sending a formal complaint to head office, suggesting they seriously look into how this store is being managed, and how staff are trained/supervised.

NOT...

We were thrilled to see a Coles opening at Chadstone Village, so that we don’t have to drive to Tooranga Coles or Coles Chadstone. As expected, it was very clean, and organised. The staff there was friendly and helpful. I also like they have lanterns at aisle where Asian foods are. Apart from the good parts, there are couple of things needs to improved. 1. They need to have pedestrian crossing at the front of entrance ASAP. Like others mention, it is dangerous. The entrance is not as big as the other shops, e.g. JB, Chemist warehouse. Its hard for drivers to notice the entrance. 2. The gate alarm kept beeping the whole day which was annoying. The other thing is disappointing is that I bought a pack of raspberry and there was a maggot inside🤢

Very expensive. No specials at all. It’s just a rich Cole’s for the rich. Go to oakleigh Cole’s and everything chadestone had full price oakleigh had it on special. Do your research before using this Coles. You will spend hundreds of dollars and only get a few bags. Absolute disgrace… spent $80 for musli bars and fruit salad. $9 for deodorant ? Used to be $4.50. Go to oakleigh same deodorant $5 Pick up your act Cole’s

Bought some nuts the other day (scoop & weight) with the expiry 05/06/2025. I had to throw the whole thing out, almost $8 down the drain. I took a bite of a few and instantly spit them out, you can taste the rancid oil in them and they shouldn't smell like paint if fresh. You need to be doing better quality control on your produce, rancid nuts can cause serious digestive issues for people. Yuck!
