Here is my review on Green Point Brighton. This review can also be found on Facebook and Instagram. I have seen many a photo taken from this vantage point, but never knew it was from Green Point. This small piece of land is part of the Brighton Beach Gardens and is to the left of Brighton Beach and Dendy Street Beach. When the tide is out you can walk around to the 2 beaches from this point. It has a large car park plus a few picnic tables where you will find walkers having a coffee or photographers snapping the sunset. Many people photograph the Brighton Bathing Boxes and the City of Melbourne skyline in the distance from this place. If you enjoy a scenic drive, continue to other Bayside beaches. This place is definitely worth a visit, especially if you are a first timer...

I love this place. It's a crazily windy location on windy days but amazingly beautiful on nice sunny days.

As well as the beautiful ocean views Green Point on the Esplanade in Brighton offers excellent hilltop views towards places like Sandringham Yacht Club to the left and Dendy Beach and its famous colourful Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes to the right, as well as Middle Bright Pier, and even as far as the City skyline.

It's also a great spot for viewing the NYE fireworks but it gets busy on NYE. As well a the great views, its a perfect spot to sit and just take a break. There's a small number of picnic tables with bench seats with good clean toilets nearby on the Esplanade.

I dislike the advertising plaques on the perimeter of the viewing platform. They are...

The positive: The view of the city from here is absolutely amazing. i love the view, especially at night it helps me think and relax. There are public toilets and a nice long track to walk along

The bad :

1: not allowed to smoke in an open space to me seems a bit stupid idea ( bayside ) meanwhile understanding the heath side of it we all have to live here so its time to allow everyone to enjoy this place and not segregate people just because they do something like smoking

2: I couldn't see any BBQs anywhere, which was a shame because it's such a nice place to have a BBQ

3: The fact that i have to pay for parking between 8 am and 8 pm. is another stupid idea from bayside who knew the Council could be dumb and greedy at...

This is my local beach and I'm lucky enough to live 5 minutes away! It has the best sunsets, plenty of seating, a nice walking track, and tables and chair if you want to bring some food and enjoy the surroundings that way. Also a great place to sun-bake or for a quick dip! It overlooks the iconic Brighton Beach boxes and also has great views of the city skyline - New Year's Eve it's packed full of people trying to catch the fireworks from the cliff top vantage point! One of the nicest stops along the bayside beach strip.
