Beach House Brighton — Restaurant in Melbourne

Had a brunch at the new Dendy Pavilion. Would like to mention: Not one staff member smiled when dealing with patrons through the entire time we were there!!! Tables were split from 4 to 2 or 2 to 4/5 and no salt/pepper were placed for use - so you had to ask a follow table to use theirs. Your table was that close to another that you could hear their entire conversation. Accessing to unisex toilet - you walked passed an opening where the dishes were mounting and could see all the pots to clean plus the scrapped food that landed on the floor which was on the path to the toilet - hazard waiting to happen. Staff wearing dirty tee shirts. Being asked to move tables so a group of four could be made whilst I was still eating my food... found this very rude!! Food - burnt mushrooms.. bacon eventually arrived after mentioning where is it. Sad, I have wonderful memories of this beach and surrounding areas. The cafe has a wonderful atmosphere and an amazing view—definitely the highlight of our visit. It’s a great spot to relax and take in the surroundings, especially in the morning.

As for the food, it was okay—nothing extraordinary but decent for the price. It’s what you’d expect from a typical cafe, not bad, but not particularly memorable either.

Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired. We arrived around 8am on a Saturday, and the staff member who attended to us didn’t seem to be in the best mood. She was noticeably irritable, which affected the overall experience. That said, I appreciate that she still tried her best despite it being apparent she was having a rough start to the day. Overall, I’d recommend the cafe for its ambiance and view, but don’t set high expectations for the service or food. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the area, but there’s room for...

Very disappointed .

We wasn't asked if we wanted in door or our but everybody after us did . I asked for beef brisket Benny .... Was told it was off the menu . But yet 5 ush minutes later a table of 5 arrives . And boom they asked for the brisket and it now on the menu .... Hmmmmmm

We was out on a table for 2 .

There was table of 2 next to us a a couple say down after us . From how they was greeted they seem to be regulars . Was served before us .

So not only not told what options we had ie inside or out . Was told items wasn't on the menu was appeared after .

Was served after people .

We felt it set there shut up eat and get out at those for our experience .

Food we order was too bad . Coffee we liked and restaurant looks lovely .

Just feel let down and not take care of .

We under busy restaurants as I'm from a kitchen back ground but doesn't hurt to give a shit...
