The usual interesting items, but one staff member was overtly rude. The cantankerous grouch asked me if I wanted a receipt for my small purchases, I said yes, then she went on a tirade "oh yea, the police will be really interested in this if you walked out with it, they'll arrest you, chase you down the street... bla bla bla ..". It went on a bit and she was seriously annoyed. Who knows why. She asked ! Bad day perhaps?

I said "well my friends decided to keep browsing so I'll be in here a while now, what if you are not at your station and another staff member sees me walk out with it ?" Then while facing away from me, the crone issues an off-hand snide like "Nah, I'll take care of that if it happened".

I could have revealed that I need a receipt to claim these items on tax but by this stage what's the point in talking further with such an unpleasant unprofessional grump? She's in her 60's or 70's with shortish grey hair, if you ever have the pleasure to...

Genuinely the best op shop out there.

There are op shops, then there are properly run, adequately resourced and beautiful op shops like this.

Part of what makes the shopping experience here so good is what I like to call “high stuff turnover”. There is a large volume of goods coming in, and a large volume of shoppers on a daily basis. Which means that coming in here regularly will yield different shopping options each time.

The management here are some of the most wonderful, kind and generous people you will ever meet.

Honestly if you get a chance to either shop here or to donate, I can guarantee it won’t be your last...

Hm. Manager is annoying. No wiggle room and not great communication. Most clothes are mediocre. I wanted to buy only 1 piece of a 2 piece $25 set, he said $15. Try to offer $12.5 just to be fair. And he took away the set and walked straight to the back without explaining. Left me waiting at counter for a few minutes wondering what is he doing, if he just had something urgent to handle.
