Since new owners took over this IGA it has become our favourite local community supermarket to shop at. They seem to care about community and quality which has gone up exponentially since the new owners took over. The range of food is good and matches the Fitzroy clientel including amazing coffee and lots of local produce such as Saint David's Dairy milk. The staff are all friendly and genuine and post photos of the local doggos on the wall (our dog Mr. Darcy insists on going inside to say hello every time we pass). Couldn't recommend them enough. We went in yesterday and bought some ciders then went in today to get some more ciders, as soon as we walked in he started accusing my partner of only paying 11 cents for the ciders from last night and saying we had to pay for them now. My bank statements show nothing even close to 11 cents. I then asked him for a receipt or any sort of proof and we would be happy to pay it and he couldn’t show me anything.
