Wide range of shops of all prices, a wide variety of food from different ethnicities and fast food to! There is a KFC and McDonalds, Sunshine Charcoal Chicken and Kebabs! Chatime and Cinemas! but very good shopping centre to have the family go shopping and not a bad place to chill! Free wifi that is accessible in most places and a few places for young children to play. This shopping centre has a Big W, Woolworths, ALDI, and a lot more and a variety of one dollar esk shops and sport shops. This place is also widely accessible by car, with many parking spots, by bus going from Sunshine, near the residential area and more routes. So if you wanna get some groceries, maybe some new shoes, have a haircut, get a nice drink, watch a nice movie or maybe you'd have a nice breakfast, lunch or dinner this is the place to go! There are also a variety of shops outside the building near the area mainly featuring food and groceries from Asian Origin but there is also a very good library where you can do any work you gotta do with superfast internet and powerplugs for...
Read moreHere's my reason to visit this place, the variety shops where you can get balloons/ deco/ random cheap stuff that you dont find in Big W or Kmart. The usual Aldi however I dont shop much there. Terry White Chemist. FMIG imaging centre if I needed Xray. The open air and underground parking is also free, I sometimes park here when I'm going for a Banh Mi on the main street. Description of center, probably built in the 70s with limited budget on maintenance and upgrade. Gloomy inside and generally looks sadder than any other shopping centre you been to, lots of empty for lease shop too. You do see beggers, correct but you seen more in Melbourne CBD, as history of this place is lower socioeconomic and many people with disadvantage/disability, so have some compasionate towards them and if you think you are much more superior you can go to chatstone and enslave yourself to capitalism. The center at present is going to house the Melbourne Aiport Railway office which will have 340 staffs. Hopefully this will bring an uplift...
Read moreThis Shopping centre has been steadily declining over the years.
Long time stores such as the "Reject Shop", "NQR", Woolworth's, Best and Less have all closed up and left.
A lot of business' that opened here for a short period include, Rivers, Evocca college, Afghan kebab joint, Fish a chip take away, Chinese take away, Poultry store, two Fish mongers, two shoe shops, a number of hair dressers, cafe and Lincraft have all come and gone.
VicFields has 2nd grade fruit and Veg, The Fish monger inside has changed hands many times but still is the worst fish monger in the whole of Australia (i.e. Poor quality produce and not fresh).
They simply don't get enough foot traffic here which explains why business' are leaving in droves. It feels like they don't even turn the A/C on during hot days.
Only good things here are Aldi and the little Bakery across from the new Audiology place. At least you can get a parking spot most of the times because no...
