On 18 November 2022 between 2.00pm to 2.25pm my wife bought two punnets of strawberries as she saw the price tag in the store was $1.99 per punnet. However at the checkout counter the gentleman cashier scanned the price tag and it came out at $2.99 per punnet. My wife queried the Gentleman Cashier who was serving her about the difference in the pricing and before he could reply to my wife another Lady Cashier (with spectacles and pony tail, race withheld) at the adjacent counter barged in and accused by wife using the words " DIDNT YOU READ" in an aggressive and unladylike manner. My wife as stunned and felt offended by the rude and unsolicited response from that Lady Cashier who subsequently removed her name tag when my wife asked for her name as she wanted to provide feedback to the ALDI management. This is very unprofessional attitude and is a manifestation of poor customer service by ALDI front staff. Please train them to be polite and treat the customer as key stakeholder. A male staff with a beard who was serving at the checkout counter at 430pm on July 10, was extremely rude to an elderly gentleman customer. The customer took out a $100 note. Prior to that he handed the staff some coins that the staff handled. The staff rudely told the customer that he could not accept the $100 note.
The elderly gentleman took out all his shopping from the bag and placed it on the counter. It was sad to see him walk away empty handed.
Aldi like every other store has rules set out. Not a problem at all. This particular staff needs training on how to speak to customers.

Read moreYesterday i went to Aldi in sunshine. I experienced worst customer service. When i went to check out they close current check out and announced that thay are opening another one. At time some few customers already unload their goods. This process give great inconvenience to customers. When I went to pay for the goods i asked reason to open and close check out. I was told that they can open and close counters whenever they like by cashier who where ring to his nose. (Customer has choice too !!). I suggest store manager should put the rope to his ring on the nose and pull to back of the store and teach about how to serve the customers.
